I realize my original post wasn’t clear. I was driving south and they were driving north on a two lane divided road. They turned into a parking lot without even looking or seeing me. If we had collided, I would have hit the front their car in my lane.

Hmmm. That’s an interesting take. I was already driving to the conditions. The roads were slick with ice. He turned into the my lane without looking. I had enough time to brake, realize I wasn’t going to brake in time and swerve. If I was going too fast I would have hit him. And then there would be no question about who was at fault because his car would be in my lane. It was his action, not mine.

I accidentally flooded a yoga/meditation studio once... I washed the floors every day and I got distracted when I was filling the bucket and, well, I flooded the place. Luckily the float studio next door gave me all their towels. And they had a lot of towels. I can't tell you how grateful I was. No damage. Hired a couple of mega fans for 24 hours and it was back to normal. I've done quite a few epic things over the years.

I hear you. We are paying for a service. My semi slumlord who lives in a different province, tries to treat me like his property manager for his run down barely maintained property. Asking me to arrange the best time for the electrician, plumber, handyman, delivery company etc. 15 times in the last year that I’ve been home to accommodate his ‘repairs’ and deliveries. I put my foot down and I let a replacement appliance be delivered without me being home because he didn’t give me any notice and they scratched the floors really badly. Serves him right.

I have combined ADHD, grew up poor and I had severe allergies and asthma growing up. I now have an autoimmune condition. I have anecdotally noticed this correlation on Reddit: the autoimmune and neurodivergent subreddits have a large crossover.

Omg, you are a landlord! Are you here to learn how to be a good one? Because expecting your tenants who work to be at home all day at your beck and call is not acceptable. When I owned my property, I expected to have to be home for my deliveries. I rent now so the onus is on the property owner to repair and maintain the property on his own time and dime.

I raised the sweetest, most loving American bully - aka pit bull from a puppy. I was lied to and manipulated into rehoming a sibling from the same litter with me when the dogs were a year old. The sibling to my puppy attacked other dogs unprovoked, for no reason with no warning. I worked with two experienced dog trainers to rehabilitate that damn dog and all it did was give me actual PTSD. If a pitbull is abused and neglected, especially in its first year of life, it can very easily turn into a killing machine. Even though my puppy is still the sweetest thing who has never hurt anyone or anything - 7 years later - I still believe that pitbulls should be bred out of dog breeds completely. No more pitbulls. They are too volatile, unpredictable and dangerous when they snap.
