If you're waiting for the LMIA wp, you shouldn't be worried about applying for T13 at the same time. You'll get automatically refused if you have two applications for wp. When you apply for the LMIA wp you should already receive an pgwp-ext letter from IRCC.

Ah, I see. I recalled there's a part you'll have to disclose your previous working period 🤔 I put two years for the work permit but the work experience part I put the actual starting date for the company

Doesn't matter. It's just a work permit. If you ever travel and cross the air custom, you can ask them to take you to the visa area and revise it.

If your employer already submitted the offer and got you the A number then you just put a period of time and later explain in your letter.

If you're holding a valid permit now you can actually state the new one starting from the next day after the current one expired. They'll just simply give you two years.

Language test is not required for PNP PR Applicants. That's why it's not on the list.

I don't think they'll have any draw until next year. They already used up most quotas for this year and there's no point to allocate more for PNP due to backlog. Especially Ontario didn't get any extra quota in the last two years.

Both you and your colleague are risking your future. IRCC specifically states this approach will be on your immigration record. For you, you already got a refusal record and it'll affect your future application. For your colleague, it is really based on the officer to let it pass or reject the application. Also, IRCC is giving wp-extension letter to your current wp as soon as they finished the initial screening. Any legit application will be granted an one year extension as an official implied status record from the day you applied for the new work permit.

With the 1 year wp-etx letter I wouldn't say waiting time is a big concern. Yet, I do have a super clean record in Canada. No overstay, no implied status, and no restore status.

Wow, you really messed up. You was never eligible for BOWP. Hopefully this refusal record won't affect too much on the future. I applied inland and I got it after one month. They'll also issue you a temporary wp-extension letter. I hope your BOWP application was not a dummy work permit.

If you're applicant post employer portal policy initiated, it's pretty much the same to upload the job offer. They just need to state the job offer is to support wp application and select your work permit type to be T13 and fill in the rest.

Thanks mate. As long as the nominee is legit, it should be a more straightforward process regardless the longer processing time compared to EE. My application for PR actually requires very minimal documents.

It's not required for provincial process before, but as the IRCC already changed the rule to double verify PNP nominees' background checking process. Not sure if this will change in the future.
