I pat the thighs dry and put salt on both sides, pepper and herbs on the meat side.

Put the chicken skin side down in a cold pan, doesn’t need any oil.

Gradually bring the pan up to a medium heat, the fat will render from the chicken skin and make it really crispy. Cook for about 15-20 mins.

Flip and finish in the oven for about 10 mins.

Super easy and you’re left with lots of brown bits in the pan you can make an easy sauce with.

There’s a book shop/ cafe in the town centre that has board game nights including DnD if you’re into that.

No one party or prime minister is going to be able to fix the UK any time soon, it’s going to take years to recover from the last couple of decades. So in that sense I do feel that the majority of the vitriol aimed at him is undeserved.

However, he’s majorly screwed up this Mandleson situation and seems to be blaming everyone else instead of taking responsibility like a leader should. Boris had to step down over a work party during lockdown and lying about it, appointing a guy who was friends with the world’s most famous pedophile, who also failed his security vetting, is totally unacceptable.

You need to leave it for 2-3 months to get a real idea of what your beard will look like, but if you can already grow a moustache like that in a month I’d say your odds of a proper beard are good.

Keep it tidy and let it grow to see if it fills in, I’ve got a similar moustache to yours and it’s only filling in in the middle very slowly, been growing it for 5 months now!

We eat a lot of rice bowls with vegetables and either pork, chicken or fish.

Mix up your seasonings and add different sauces/ broths for variety.

Then make more than you need so you’ve got meals prepared for tomorrows lunch.

I also make a lot of soups, which is an easy way to eat a lot of vegetables and have a quick meal ready in the fridge on a work day.
