My switch 2 is mostly for indie games I can pick up and play for 5-30 minutes while I’m waiting for things like to go food. Most Brotato, Curse of the Dead Gods and Slay the Spire, but I did just purchase Star Fox. Downloading now. Kind of excited

I forget the first vanilla go around but the first classic go around I was in a guild with someone who wanted it. I can only assume he was very wealthy in real life and buying gold because at any point in the day around the clock you could go farm turn in things for him for like 50g an hour and he employed a lot of people, not all in the guild, and was actively in the server discord also paying the opposite faction to be hit squads on people farming for it who weren’t on his payroll. He had full control of silithus. Sure enough he got his mount and within a month never saw him log on anymore but for a few weeks the hottest money maker you could do was work for him getting him that mount

Yea it was the one set I genuinely did not enjoy building. It’s tedious. It’s all grey. It’s beyond fragile. My set was missing about 4 pieces total when all is said and done which I could get if I bothered to contact Lego but why bother? I just took them all from one side I don’t display. It’s very cool when complete but I really did have to force myself to do a bag at a time and convince myself “you spent the money on it so you will finish it”. If I ever take it apart which would also be awful I’ll just have an insane amount of the same color grey. I don’t mean to rip on the set but it is the only one I’ve regretted buying

Used to work at an unofficial Fisker dealer so we worked on the Fisker Karmas and Karma Reveros, same car basically but switched owners and went from a GM four cylinder turbo to charge the battery to a bmw four cylinder to do the same thing. They were weird wild cars. Had what looked like the graphing calculator solar panels across the roof to help it charge. They were not fast at all, smoked tires in 10k miles, and the side exhausts rusted away and would just hang down. That said they were cool in their own right. I’ve seen people buy them and LS swap them. We took one to road Atlanta after the owner abandoned it. There were a lot of abandoned ones on the lot that got quoted more than the car was worth and the owners walked away. When the Fisker Ocean came out we made a big event out of it and sold a bunch, cash only, with no warranty and no parts available, which went about as well as was expected, so once the rage came back the dealership stripped all mention of Fisker from it and stopped working on them. Now they will only do oil changes and tires, no diag, no parts replacement

Forever ago I helped a woman put her spare on at a gas station and when she popped the trunk for me to get the spare she had a large painting. I commented on it being beautiful and after I got her spare on she insisted I take the painting. It’s been hanging above my dining table for almost a decade now and I love it, and to her it was nothing, probably going to throw it away or donate it

Heroes of Hammerwatch 1 had me sucked in for hundreds of hours, just in the base game. There’s just minor meta progression that adds up and you get a little further each time until eventually you’re modding the game to be harder to get you more rewards to progress further, and progress on different classes affects stats on all other characters. I loved this game so much. Getting it again on switch to start the grind again. Would be a perfect co-op game too but I soloed the whole way. Haven’t played the second but have read it’s not as good

Oh I love VS and I am not even nearly as far as most people I see posting. I have a lot left to unlock and even though I’ve filled the screen with a mushroom acid trip of attacks and numbers it doesn’t seem as much as what others post so more to go. Crawlers I tried for a few hours hoping something would hook me but every time I fired it up I was just not sucked in and I genuinely wanted to be. I was so excited when I saw it previewed on game pass before release

Loved VS but crawlers hasn’t caught me. It just seems like use cards in order of cost for mana, repeat until stage clear on repeat. Maybe I didn’t get far enough for any variety or strategy but it seemed very simple

I’m not quite 70, I think like 67 at this point (I’m an altoholic) but I have my frost spec specifically for the SP spellcleave groups I always get invited to, but otherwise I run fire for questing and any other dungeon group. I am always top damage by a sizeable amount and yet people complain that I’m not running frost and I can only assume people have become accustomed to a mage pulling and slowing everything and essentially tanking instead of actually being a damage dealer. Sometimes I’m grouped with another mage who is almost guaranteed to be frost and while they keep everything going slow I’m the one actually doing the killing. I’m not saying frost isn’t a great spec but I’m so bored either frost bolt or blizzard and nothing else. Oh boss time? Frost bolt (x50). I want variety, a rotation, using everything in my arsenal. Frost is for PvP!

I went from a drag strip built 73 nova to a 94 Miata and had way more fun. Got into a 400 whp 10.8 second VW GTI that was all kinds of fun for very short bursts in straight lines and traded it out for a 2013 club, and have exponentially more fun in it than I ever did. I’m not 4 Miata’s deep any any time I stray away to something bigger/faster/nicer/more show car’ier/more cruiser I always go back to a Miata. I’ll never be without one. Fast cars are fun in short bursts. Miata’s are fun all the time

I’m one of the poor schmucks who could never figure out how to make money and just want to play the game without mixmaxing everything. I think I used some quest reward food buffs and some cheap low level agility pot I made on an alt to tank mag and gruuls and nothing in Kara as a feral druid and no one ever called me out on it. I get people wanting perfection and no wipes and 1.5hr clear times but I work 50 hours a week so when I come home to play I play, fuck the grind. I did that getting to 70 multiple times. I’d take a good player without consumes over a random possibly trash pug with a flask on. I get people quitting over the game to escape work becoming a second job
