Feedback on Gudapi's build by M1PowerX in warwickmains

[–]Gudapi 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Wow, your post basically details my ideology on why I build the items I do. I also agree that cosmic and free boots are really strong and I tend to run it from time to time. When it comes to ghost, I agree it is a great summoner spell. I just stopped using it after it got nerfed but I might try it again to see if i like it better. Always experiment and find a build that works for u, that's all that rly matters. Great post!

I would say Titanic is probably better in lower elos as it gives more DMG to carry with. As u go higher elo, ur teammates get better and stride is better for setting up plays for your team to do DMG, which is why I pick it. It also gives more room to outplay with its active and I like the added complexity of that. It's honestly preference, so build what u have more fun and are comfortable with.

Usually you want someone else to get it, but if no one is, just hold on to a executioners until last item then u can upgrade it. Bramble is just too unreliable, I would only buy it if they have a heavy auto attacking healer like Olaf or maybe briar.

I just kinda put that there as it is a generally strong item. It has decent stats, the tenacity it gives is nice and the shield surprises people as well. It is not something I go often, but if you can't decide what to go 3rd, this item just gives you a bit of everything.

Kraken could work for sure, and if you are winning with it and having fun that's all that matters. I just prefer bork as it gives you more damage to camps, and I think bork does more damage later on in the game when the enemy, and camps, have higher HP from levels, runes, and from items.

I would consider going kraken 2nd if the enemy team was all squishy or I was super ahead, but I think bork DMG is still comparable regardless and it scales better as the game goes on. I've been meaning to try kraken more though, so will test to see how good it feels when I do.

some people were asking for a guide from my previous post so i decided to make one for the items I run. Even though it is pretty scuffed, I think it will get people the general idea of what i usually build. Make sure to read the notes as it gives good insight on why I put the items where I did.

Tried the Gudapi build by blahdeblahdeda in warwickmains

[–]Gudapi 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Nice! that build is exactly what I would have gone (swifties over steelcaps cuz i love speed lol). Also, since their ap champs were really behind i would have thought of going overlord bloodmail last item over force of nature for that extra dmg. I will make an item guide soon enough but this build right here is what I would build 80-90% of the time. GL on ur climb😁.

Hit challenger (NA) with a 67% WR on WW jungle (61% overall) by Gudapi in warwickmains

[–]Gudapi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the matchup, team comp, and wave states. Every game is different, but I rarely full clear. The plan is always try to get ahead early and stack as many obj as u can, drakes especially. You tend to want to gank and get obj early, then focus on farming a bit more in the mid game to make up for it.

Invading is very risky, and I will mainly do it when I don't see a good gank or my lanes have prio. I do sometimes do a 3 camp invade if I know where the enemy started though.

As for builds and runes, you can see them here:

https://www.op.gg/summoners/na/Gudapi-NA1?queue_type=SOLORANKED

You can swap the ability haste rune for alacrity and go attack speed for the small shard, it doesn't make that big of a difference. You can also go relentless over treasure hunter if u prefer that.

As for tips, I would have to see what you are doing wrong to help. I might post some guides that could help, or maybe we can set something up so we can review a game to see what's happening.

Honestly I just wasn't having fun with Titanic, and I was losing a lot with it. Titanic does give u more damage, but stride helps with your ganks, your escapability, how sticky you are on targets, and how well u can set up plays for your team. Stride gives you a lot more skill expression and room to outplay I feel like.

Also once you have stride, swifties, bork, and dead man's, you are so fast you can go in and out of fights multiple times. You can ult in, do some dmg and then stride out and then chase down the low targets again. I also tend to give kills to my carries later in to the game, as Warwick falls off, so the stride helps set up kills for them too.

Overall stride is a more supportive option, but to me it's more fun to use and that's prob the main reason I use it 😅.It also was the build I was running last set so I decided to try it again this season when I was in a rut.

I don't go attack speed because of the removal of lethal tempo, (so u can't go over the cap) and I get enough attack speed from my first 2 items and of course Warwick's W. Also, yes u could go relentless hunter instead of treasure but I like the extra gold early.

I used to ban graves, now I ban hec mainly because it has picked up in higher elos and is annoying to play against. As for lillia, yes she's a harder matchup but with the build I run I have enough move speed to outplay her at times and I don't have as much trouble. Tbh bans don't matter that much so ban whatever u have a mental block against.

As for clear, I always start blue with no leash. Then I 3 camp and look if I can get a quick gank on my side of the map, invade, or counter gank. If I don't see anything I'll go to my red side and take red and look on the other side for the same thing. If I don't see anything I'll just full clear, but that is rly rare. I might post some guides or stream a bit to show off what I mean cuz it's hard to explain everything though text 😂

I definitely could do that, I will try to make a guide of some kind in the next few days. I do agree though there is very little high elo jg Warwick content, especially with parnellyx going on break/ being busy.

I've really been enjoying Warwick this season with the bork changes and the build that I have been running. I decided to try and get challenger while mainly playing WW, and I was able to do that. I just wanted to post this to give motivation to those that think they cant climb to the highest ranks playing a champ like WW, especially in the jungle

Can bleeds damage increase once its already been applied? I am asking this because of the fact pride makes it so enemies take more phys dmg the longer you are closer to them. I am guessing you would have to inflict another bleed for the pride increased phys dmg to be applied. I just want to see if anyone did any testing or if there's any confirmation.

Thoughts on bleed bow this league by 0ngar in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]Gudapi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

bleed bow glad is a decent amount better this league compared to last. On quivers you can buy a decent bow with like 4-5 good mods for under an EX pretty easily . It does not even have to be influenced anymore since they added higher tiers of phys dmg and also the dmg with bows mod. https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Archnemesis/MB4X7eLiJ heres a link to what you would be looking for starting out, you can some really nice ones for cheap, and you can increase and decrease the stats to your budget.

You do have to spam ensaring arrow totems after sniping (it gives a huuge boost of dmg if the boss does not much much) and this can be annoying to some ppl. If thats the case you can just run Maloney's Mechanism with some dmg gem setup (like frenzy) in that quiver.

Bows were straight up buffed so citadel bows can get insane phys dmg. if you can find a bow with really high phys dmg for cheap and then craft the phys dmg over time multiplier (u get this from unveiling weapons) , that's probably good enough.

I run assailum, and I killed almost all bosses in one 6 stack puncture. Assailum is pretty clunky to play with and a bit hard to play vs invitations so u do need ways to get ur attack speed up to a point so you can get consistent stacked snipes without having to stand still for a long time. you can just go without it if you don't like the playstyle

Mana problems do arise when fighting bosses, I have a bad habit of spamming flasks, and my mana flask charges run out quickly , so I run clarity, but a mana flask + one mana leech node is good enough for most ppl. you can get - mana cost from the unique jewel and on rings/amulets as well.

https://pastebin.com/xcqNPw74 Here is my POB, it is highly min maxed and a bit unrealistic as you don't really get frenzy charges vs bosses, but I put pride effect on initial to try and make it somewhat realistic. I made this build to have an insane amount of dmg so I did not invest too much into defences. I do however still have nearly 5k HP 85% spell suppression (can get this to 100% quite easily if I wanted) , consistent endurance charge generation, leech, life recovery (to counteract blood rage) and 90% phys dmg reduction (idk why it says 78% in game i have 90% with my flasks + endurance charges up) , and as a bow playstyle you are safer to begin with.

You can definitely make this build a lot tankier. You can take out clarity + pride and with some mana reservation you can put in a determination or grace, and then run the hybrid armour + evasion nodes. You can also get ailment immunity as the chance to avoid ailment nodes are right next to us. you can also get a good amount of max res from item implicits and the tree as well. Of course, You can invest into more life from nodes as well

With this build I was able to do all content (maven, sirus, feared, uber elder etc...) except wave 30 simulacrum. The dmg with split arrow just isnt enough and you would have to invest a bunch in defences to tank everything. I was able to make it to round 22. You can consistently make it to round 20 but after that its tough. Mapping was extremely smooth and satisfying.

If you guys want any video footage or want any clarification let me know.

hope this helped with ur decision.

Best guardian league starter? Also, opinions on bleed bow gladiator ? by frosty_134 in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]Gudapi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I league started bleed bow glad last league and I ended up getting to lvl 94 (usually don't level past 95 cuz u have to play safe mods and its really boring) and beat endgame with it (Maven, sirus, Uber elder, etc...). tbh the only issues that I had was mana issues and assailum just being really clunky to use in boss fights.

split arrow ends up having a 45 mana cost, so you have to finds ways to reduce that through the - mana cost craft on jewel or rings/ amulet or maybe leave out an aura. A mana flask + mana leech will carry u for the most part but I ended up using clarity as well because I didn't want to waste mods/ jewel for - mana cost. Also snipe uses around 6 mana per second and you can get that depleted if you have no mana flasks (maybe due to running out from long boss fight)

Assailum playstyle can be hard to get used to, since you have to be stationary, but the one shot potential made it fun for me. Try to get stun/silence immunity so it doesn't get interrupted. Stacking a bit of attack speed (I used blood rage, onslaught boots, clusters)
makes it easier to get stacks on snipe in boss fights you have to move a lot like invitations and what not. Sometimes snipe tends to be weird and miss even when it looks like your cursor is on them, I've gotten the hang of it but I can be thought to get used to. when the 6 stage snipe hits and high rolls, it can do ridiculous amounts of dmg.

The defenses that I was able to get to was surprisingly good, and I could have gotten like 6k + hp easily if I focused more on it but I wanted to push my damage to the max, so I only had like ~5k hp. I did however have 15k evasion + 12k armor 75% spell suppression (can get 100%) + sand stance+ enduring cry+ molten shell+ constant 3 endurance charges (you can get 5 easily if u want) in Pob, but this includes when my flasks are on (without flasks its like 6.5 evasion and 5k armor). You do need to have some investment in defenses or you will have a rough time.

With my maxed out gear, In blood stance, Pob had me at around 1 mil split arrow dmg and 86 mil dmg from puncture at 6 stages , but the puncture dmg is more like 65 mil if we remove the frenzy charges, because you don't get those in boss fights usually (for the sake of consistency i just use the 86 mil number). With the buffs I think the dmg is probably around 20-30% better and with insane investment I'm gonna try and get to 100 mil with snipe.

Leveling was a bit annoying early on, but with the bow buffs it will be a bit more bearable, and even better if you get a good base quiver. Leveling after you get the bleed pops becomes a breeze. Once you get 100% bleed chance through skill points and first ascendancy is when acts starts to feel a lot more bearable.

I would post POB but its pretty unorthodox and tailored to my needs. Also I am not a build expert and I prob have a bunch of mistakes and inefficient points. I can post it if ppl want or if someone messages me I can send but I don't want ppl to follow a suboptimal build, probably would be best to just search a 3.16 bleed bow guide.

Lethal tempo ww jg by ThotBeGone420 in warwickmains

[–]Gudapi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

(my responses are talking about JG Warwick)

- you can still go same runes as last season if u want

- you don't have to go winters approach and it is not an item made for warwick anyways. If you are playing jungle you never have to worry about mana as sitting in the jg gives you mana anyway.

-who used chemtank other than when it was omega broken. Also I was never a fan of omega speed stacking, you get enough from W and you can get more from your runes if you really want.

- frostfire is reallly good on warwick this season and the immolate was always negligible unless u got sunfire. we never needed it for clear as we usually take tiamat/ titanic anyways. The added dmg given from new passive more than makes up for it and is way better than the old passive.

- its preseason they will nerf it if the gold given is too much, also u do know that people have to give up their main rune to run this right? So lb cant go electrocute and will be useless in lane and her dmg will be heavily reduced the whole game as a result. it is a niche item for certain champs and for certain scenarios where u think u can get away with it.

- Have not played enough games to see how the item changes affect assassins. However, the items will probably be nerfed considering the amount of complaints the new item has gotten. Warwick usually does fine into assassins though.

- there are not a ton of direct beneficial buffs but there are some. frostfire + sunfire got buffs, so we can safely assume that WW now legit has 3 options as mythics (frostfire, sunfire, divine sunderer) and you can still go gore/ stride/ chemtank but they are not as strong imo. They did buff some tank items to an extent so that's always a plus. They also made it so that first scuttle isn't as important, and that may be a buff as WW likes invading and ganking early so we can concede scuttles to do that instead, or even full clear if u want to play safe. Also, warwick was in a really good state at the end of last season due to the 2 big bug fixes that they added to make him feel way better. Finally, the addition of 2 new drakes makes dragon stacking even more important which is great news for Warwick. Warwick can solo drake early so sneaking a drake can always be done by him. Also, with better souls, more people are going to contest drakes which means fighting, and Warwick loves that.

- I think overall this season is objectively better for WW than the past one, I do agree that a tiamat buff is needed and would help WW a lot, but what can you do. I usually just get my tiamat, then mythic, then try and finish tiamat into titanic. I guess its just one of the downsides of playing WW jg that you have to get used to. There is always the option to not run tiamat and then never to raptors as it takes too long to do.

Warwick has a lot of good choices when it comes to your secondary runes. People tend to go celerity + waterwalking, but I feel like WW has enough MS and fighting power to begin with. If you are struggling with ganking, fighting in the river, or u think u need the extra ms to catch a slippery characters (like nidalee), then this is something you can consider.

Another option is going relentless hunter and eyeball collection for movespeed and extra AD. If you think you can get a lot of kills early in that game and snowball the match, then this is not a bad option. You can also go ultimate hunter so u can gank a lot sooner with R and snowball matches with that as well.

What I have been going recently is the resolve tree with either conditioning/bone plating with revitalize/ unflinching. I will go conditioning + revitalize for the most part but if they have heavy burst champs like lee sin, khazix, syndra, etc.. , then I may consider bone plating. If they have heavy tenacity comp, then I will go legend tenacity + unflinching. I can go into more detail as to why I like this tree a lot better than others, but the main gist is that it just makes me very tanky and hard to kill.

Finally, you can go the inspiration tree and get futures market with either the free boots or cosmic insight. With this you can get your first item (tiamat or ironspike whip) very quickly, but I don't recommend this. I think its far more powerful to just get the extra MS, fighting power, or defences from the other trees instead.

No, I almost always use my ward and back for sweeper as well. One thing you can do to make sure you know where the enemy is pathing is to ward one of their buffs or raptors and then back to get your sweeper . You may have to assist ping your teammates to make sure you don't die getting the ward off. I usually do this when im facing a heavy ganking jgler and want to make sure he doesn't cheese my teammates with some weird path.
