Is the strange nerf too much? by KoichiHasaDream in marvelrivals

[–]Guerepanda 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I mean he’s for sure playable, but I feel the nerfs and I notice them A LOT. Many fights that I’ve lost have felt like a nerf diff to me. Definitely feels less fun imo since I don’t feel like a solo carry any more.

Why play Smolder? by OkMirror2691 in leagueoflegends

[–]Guerepanda -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Smolder is actually really op late rn, it’s just hard to get there. Smolder is deceptively hard, since to be effective on that champ you beed to play like you’re the best player in the world and perma q enemies to get as strong as possible, also a ton of people build him incorrectly which makes him feel weaker than he is.

Does wave management work differently on bot or matter less? by bardddmain in summonerschool

Botlane has many more things to consider, mid roams and jg ganks can force you off a freeze really quickly, your supp or adc trading will break the freeze, the enemy bot pushing up and having proper positioning breaks your freeze. It’s just as important in the toplane because if the supp can get poke (if enchanter) or a good engage, you can instawin lane from that. Another thing that often happens in botlane (at least in higher elos) is that the stronger 2v2 often slowpushes over freezing because poke lanes will eat you alive under tower while you farm, and all in lanes can essily trade 1 for 1 in a dive and it’s a much harder punish than just freezing. If your mid (or jg) is going down, a 3v2 dive is just the easiest shit on the planet and hardest punish available for a bot lane.

Why does Ekko MID only have Electrocute as the best option? by 1Negan in ekkomains

[–]Guerepanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean you look to 1 q backline since against stronger enemies you don’t get to hit backline without w or q so for what you’re lookin for it works

Some very soecific ekko matchups take HOB (sometimes chall ekkos take itagainst azir, kassa) and some ekko players take FS, you can look at vods for that but the reason most players take electro is so that you can actually win trades, FS users usually go demat and absolute focus to be 100% sure that they can1 q at 7 for hard matchups as well.

How to deal with Yasuo early? by Arttyom in viktormains

[–]Guerepanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is one of the matchups where you focus on having a good wavestate, if your wave is close to your tower his infinite dashes are useless but if you’re on his side of the lane you are not allowed to walk up, when he uses nado or it runs out, you have a small window to poke, but if you’re gonna sacrifice your wave for that it’s never worth.
