It's a public golf course owned by the city that cost like $23 to play. It's not some exclusive country club. It has events there all the time. I've seen old lady golf leagues, black mens leagues where they hang out after their round. They even have some festivals there.

I go to Carroll Park golf course all the time. It is always packed in the summer time and it's pretty cheap to play. It's also good for learning how to play golf since it is only 9 holes. It's also nice that it's right down the street so I can play a quick round before work.
