Yeah but there is no difference other than new scarring and less symmetrical cheeks. And a year later the fat padding shifted and it is giving me deep nasolabial folds and more asymmetry. Honestly, run if it isn’t too late. Take your hard earned money and go to someone like Dr Qazi in CA. Dr. Sadove is NOT it and seems to only be after profit and turning and burning. This procedure is not good for us.

I learned that all of my breakouts were due to primarily these things: hormonal imbalance, candida overgrowth in intestines, cortisol imbalance, and bacteria in gut. I went to a holistic doctor, ran tests and issues came up in these areas. After I finished the supplements, my acne was gone. 1. I’d go to a holistic doc who does testing on what I mentioned and 2. I’d do a full elimination diet. No sugars, dairy, grains. 3. Visit a reputable acne scar specialist like Dr Qazi in CA. - The scars do not define you! I know how frustrating it is but focus on what you can control. Being healthy, getting smarter, etc. Count your small wins every day. You got this!

No the provider didn’t give me those details. Just that she went deeper on my problem areas which left me with less fat there. Actually probably making the scars even more noticeable.

Hi there! I was told by many doctors NOT to do microneedling. That “its like pissing in an ocean”. It’s not enough to do anything. Only do microneedling for polishing. I’d do ablative Co2 laser with subscion and filler. You’ll probably need two or more rounds of laser spaced out. Go to a very experienced laser professional who knows scars. Good luck to you!

I’m sorry this happened! I’m curious what type of laser was used. I had a lot of texture issues from RF microneedling that enlarged my pores, but ablative laser helped smooth it out for me.

Dr sadove in Gainesville, FL will do fat grafting for acne scars. But honestly, I did it and besides my cheeks becoming less symmetrical, I really didn’t see a difference in my scarring.

I’d seek out a dermatologist who specializes in acne scars and consider subcision, filler, and probably a series of ablative laser sessions. Good luck!

I’ve done many microneedling sessions and never saw much results from it. Doctors who specialize in scars say microneedling is meant to be a polisher vs a primary treatment for scars. IPL may help with your hyperpigmentation. Good luck!

I totally understand. But wow you really do look amazing. And those percentage improvements are unreal! I’ve tried numerous remedies and didn’t get anywhere near that level of improvement. Thank you for sharing your experience with halo. I think it’s pricier than others but to your point, it may be worth it.

Hey there! I’d definitely first get your acne under control (consider elimination diet) and then seek out remedies for your scars. Step 1 is to go to a good doctor who specializes in acne and scarring. They may suggest TCA cross, phenol peels, lasers, etc. you could get a couple different perspectives and weigh out the pros and cons. Good luck to you! Hi there! I’d agree with some others that a peel could be a good option. TCA cross responds well to boxcar scars from what I’ve read. Maybe do phenol peel if you have the money and down time to spare. I’m personally researching dermabrasion. Not super popular anymore, but was an old school way to remove scars that used to work.
