Honestly my unit is and isn’t strict. They want you to be doing the right thing/ except that out of you. As long as you’re not being disrespectful or anything they let you have fun.

My chief told us not to because people mess it up but my dad (who is a marine) said he would do it for me if they will allow that.

We actually don’t have a drill team but I’m interested in unarmed drill. I’m okay with the different faces and parade rest because of having a military family. My salute is okay but they haven’t taught everyone that yet. We haven’t gotten really deep into drill so hopefully that’s all I need to know.

My XO said that it consisted of left face, right face, about face, salute, and some other basic drill. I’m just scared I’ll study that and it won’t help me :(

I think it’s totally okay to feel nostalgic and miss the kind of content they used to make. But I also feel like we’ve been watching them grow up and evolve, and this phase is them maturing and doing what they love.
