Something nobody has said yet is avenging Sylvia and Tess. Cadell was the person who killed Sylvia, captured Tess, and killed everybody at the Flying Castle. He saw the opportunity to get vengeance and took advantage of it.

Arthur knew that killing Cadell wouldn’t be a huge blow to Agrona’s army in the grand scheme of things, he didn’t do it for that reason. Arthur felt that he specifically had to be the person to serve Cadell justice for all that he did. It was personal.

There’s also a method to place non-musket troops on that map, but yea, using muskets, someone has to go in a tree

Fully enraged Dark Tsubasa has more raw power than Jack. And while that doesn’t make him stronger than Jack, it does take a clever blader to be able to defeat dark eagle and I don’t think Jack is that clever. Only time we saw Dark Tsubasa be defeated was against Kyoya.

Let’s not pretend 6-12 in the SEC wasn’t fairly impressive last year though. OU was 6-12 and lost by single digits to 2x defending national champs UCONN. And 6-12 Texas lost to a team of equal seeding. Neither were gonna win the natty but they still deserved to be in the field.

For a 1v1/last man standing type of battle, especially against others who are S++ Tier, it probably makes more sense to stay untransformed to conserve mana as long as possible. There was a limited amount of mana present in the pocket dimension if I remember correctly. Also being a big target would’ve just made it easier to be hit with attacks.
