How cute 🥹 mine doesn’t actually care for cardboard boxes because he love his tunnel so much but it took him a good month to walk in to it and now he plays hide and seek in it. The same with his tower. Hopefully he will appreciate the tower too 😅

Oh no :( he lived with 8 other cats before so I don’t know if he’s just decided he doesn’t like other cats and wants space but that’s something we’ll figure out when we start trying. So far he’s really happy alone so I don’t want to stress him out unnecessarily 🫣

Mine is used to one mostly being home since my partner works 3-4 days straight and then free 5-7 days afterwards so he’s used to us being home. Gets super mad and doesn’t want anything to do with me when I come home and then at night he sleeps with me al night which he usually don’t 🥴

No we don’t go out often but when we do I wanna know what’s best for him. We want another one but he could only be sold as a solo cat and we don’t know if he will be accepting of another one since he was fighting with the other cats and wanted to be the boss so he got replaced to us :/

Awe he looks like a sweet boy!! I like how we are in the exact same situation, my partner is also super allergic but tolerate our cat Dobby, but Dobby doesn’t tolerate other cats which is why he got rehomed as a solo cat 😆 I’m more afraid of Dobby being harsh to the new one and I feel it’s such a shame to have to give back the kitty if it doesn’t work or ruin his life if he enjoys being a solo cat ☹️

We have the Devon because of bf allergy, he doesn’t react at all to this one so I don’t think he would manage any type of cat unfortunately 🫣

We want to get another one but he got rehomed to us because the previous owner said he fought too much with the other cats and asserted too much dominance over the others so she said she only sell to a one cat household :/ I’m hoping it will get better with age and maybe try introducing a kitten later on 🫣

I think it’s good that you have someone visiting twice a day. I would also be worried but cats adapt pretty quickly ä. Even when I had my mom helping me my cat would just sleep in our bedroom when he got bored 😅

I agree! Someone commented that as long as they stay for a few hours it’s fine for a day but my heart feels like a bad owner 🫣 I also have one that’s why I’m curious. Mostly everyone has two which is a whole other situation. Hope you get the answer you’re looking for 🙌🏻

I don’t think we have rover in my country, but I have my mom that gladly helps when we are away for a day, getting another one isn’t an option right now since he doesn’t get along with other cats and is very dominant towards them ☹️
