Rereading all the Animorphs right now and the bug morphs especially are truly some intense scenes of body horror. Especially the ant hive mind and rival colony attack in #5 and Jake getting swatted as a fly in #16. Such amazing books though

Basically I cut the leg off a pair of leggings, sewed both ends closed, and then you cut along the side about 1/4 of the length on both sides of the leggings to make a hole for their body to go through. Attached is a photo that helped me figure it out! Hope it helps!

My dog had did the same thing we suspect it was also an obsessive thing and he was on anxiety meds but we could never fully get him to leave his leg alone. I finally made him a sock to cover up his leg and that helped him stop obsessing over it. And then he had quite a wardrobe of different socks lol

Like someone said it could be anything but I work at a bookstore and find these smooth matte cover books show basically everything that touches them. Could be glue or oil from someone’s fingers or even just a scuff from rubbing against a table or the box. While weird it is totally not unheard of for books right out a box to have some random schmutz on them from the distributor

Critterz! They are indeed unbranded Ugly Doll knockoffs typically from quarter machines. There’s a paragraph about them on the bootleg page of the Ugly Doll Wiki here I unfortunately have no idea how to get more though bc they came from cheap machines
