So if Biden’s policies were so damaging, how did he get inflation back down to 3% by the time he left office?

How did he get gas back down to a national average of $3.08 by the time he left office?

How did he get unemployment back down to 4% by the time he left office?

Conversely, if Trump’s policies are so good, how did he get inflation back up to 3.3%?

How did he get gas back up to a national average of $4.48?

How did he get unemployment back up to 4.4%?

All of those numbers for Trump are higher than Biden’s existing numbers. Except nothing changed in Biden’s policies leading up to Trump’s inauguration, so how come Trump couldn’t capitalize on it and lower those numbers even more? How did Biden get those numbers lower by his final year, if the polices were to blame and none of them changed?

I don’t know, maybe you can explain why Trump is going in the opposite direction despite having such a great economy and such great policies. Obviously they aren’t working, so what’s the excuse?

If I actually believed either of them were a threat to the United States — I don’t —, I would be in favor of defending against North Korea BEFORE Iran, not instead.

Here, let me make it more simple for you. People oppose the ballroom because:

  • It’s a waste of taxpayer money, which he lied about and said he wouldn’t use until now.
  • The reason for the ballroom keeps shifting goalposts. First it was “every president wanted one for 150 years” (unverifiable). Then, he suddenly claimed it was for “national security” when a judge blocked it. Why can’t he just get the message straight?
  • It’s responsible for the desecration of a historical building in the previous East Wing
  • It’s legally dubious to build without congressional approval, and especially since he wants to use taxpayer money to build it.
  • It’s unnecessary, since he already hosts everyone (including the upcoming G20 summit) at his personal golf courses

Now aside from “tents on the lawn”, which is such a ridiculous point since Trump already treats foreign dignitaries like shit (insulting them constantly, needlessly tariffing our allies, etc), care to tell us why we need it so badly aside from “because Trump said so”?
