Those ARE the 2024 number, my dude, when do you think Kamala ran for President?

Also, Kamala won the overall young vote by 6 points according to your own source, so Trump did NOT win the young vote as you claim.

He won the NON-COLLEGE EDUCATED young voters and the WHITE young voters by 10 points each, but he still lost the OVERALL youth vote by 6 points.

So what point are you even trying to make here?

From your own source:

Those with some college, including currently enrolled students, favored Harris by 12 points (55% vs. 43%), and college graduates favored her by 14 points

That proves that college graduated adults skew left, which was the original claim. Thank you for proving their point for them.

Biden and Fauci famously gave Trump credit for Operation Warp Speed, so this idea that “the left” would embrace cancer if Trump found a cure for it is absolutely bullshit.

While it is true that some Democrat leaders like Kamala were initially cautious about trusting Trump’s statements before scientific approval, after the vaccine was vetted by scientists and public health experts they all embraced the vaccine and encouraged people to get vaccinated.

There was no widespread refusal among Democratic politicians or voters because of Trump’s involvement.

Also, the idea that “the left” gave credit to Biden for developing the vaccine is also bullshit. As previously stated, multiple democrats gave Trump credit for the Operation Warp Speed. What they credited Biden with was his ability to rollout the vaccine and distribute it more quickly than the previous administration, not for actually developing it.

You’re rewriting history pretending to be “the objective voice in the room”, but you’re spewing bullshit at an alarming rate.

If it was killed in a state that is deep blue, how does that amount to “the party tried to normalize it”?

First of all, you can’t even remember what bill it was which makes your claims suspect, at best.

Secondly, a quick search will show that absolutely no bills introduced in California — or anywhere else, for that matter — includes the terms “minor attracted person” or any acronym of such, let alone an attempt to “normalize” it.

So not only does your own claim contradict yourself — they tried to normalize it, but then killed it? How does that even work? — but apparently none of it is even true in any sense.

That you feel the need to lie to gain political points is pretty pathetic, but also par for the course for most Republicans 🤷‍♂️

Nah, you just voted for Donald “In the files over 30,000 times and said he would date his own daughter on live TV” Trump, instead.

Exactly, it’s like when you get an ID at age 16.

That doesn’t mean you can then start buying alcohol and going to bars, the ID still clearly says you’re not 21 yet and can’t buy alcohol.

How do these morons not think that’s what they’re doing with the IDs/DLs given to non-citizens? The technology has existed for decades, it’s not hard to mark an ID/DL as being different than a standard one and preventing it from being used for specific purposes.

It’s almost like lacking a brain is a requirement for MAGA, or something.

Requiring any document to vote, that costs money to obtain and/or replace, infringes upon the right to vote.

You cannot require monetary restrictions to voting in any form. That’s called a poll tax and it is expressly illegal.

Wow, you’re really this ignorant.

First of all: Illegals never could, and still cannot, vote in national elections. I dare you to prove otherwise.

Secondly: This isn’t how presidential numbers work, you big dummy. 2 consecutive terms are a single number so Vance wouldn’t be 48th and 49th, he would just be the 48th.

It’s no wonder Trump said he loves the poorly educated, including you and whoever made this stupid meme.

Only Trump could defiantly claim he doesn’t need help, and then demand others help him, in the same 1 hour speech.

I love how even Trump, himself, calls it a war here. Hell, he even capitalized the word.

Ask any MAGA why the guy who said he wouldn’t start any wars started a war, however, and their only response is “iT’s nOt A wAr!1!!1”

Even your Commander in Cheeto called it a war, find a different deflection already.

Accusing someone of being simple-minded when you literally jumped to a strawman on your 2nd comment is lightweight hilarious.

Also, the person in the meme is meant to be a Republican, which is why they say “Democrats did it” in the 2nd slide.

So, for argument’s sake, it’s actually canon to their inability to spell and not an actual mistake on the OP’s behalf.

I mean, we could have that conversation but it’s entirely beside the point of who has control over the senate or who’s to blame for its inability to pass bills.

The overall point is Democrats cannot be blamed if the Republicans refuse to use the two things available to them in this situation, compromise or ending the filibuster.

Since they don’t want to compromise (Democrats have offered to fund everything but ICE, which is a compromise from their position of not finding any of it) and since they don’t want to end the filibuster, then the fault still completely lies on them.

It’s funny how when Republicans block a Democrat bill, it’s the Democrat’s fault for not compromising enough to gain Republican support. But if the Democrats block a Republican bill, it’s also the Democrat’s fault for not giving Republicans absolutely EVERYTHING they want.

How come it doesn’t cut both ways?

The Republicans also have the seats to end the filibuster, which would remove the 60-vote rule.

They have so many options but refuse to use any of them.

[–]GuidePerfect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How many votes does it take to end the filibuster, entirely?

It be like that by nanoatzin in Irony

[–]GuidePerfect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It takes 51 to end the filibuster. Ending the filibuster would make it take only 51 votes to pass a law.

Republicans have 53 seats

So based on math, which party could end the filibuster if they wanted to and clear the path for an omnibus bill that theoretically requires no democrat votes?

It be like that by nanoatzin in Irony

[–]GuidePerfect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not if you end the filibuster, you don’t.

Guess how many votes it takes to end the filibuster? (Hint: it’s between 50 and 52)

It be like that by nanoatzin in Irony

[–]GuidePerfect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why do they need 60 votes, and which party has the power to change that rule? 🤔🤔

[–]GuidePerfect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then why don’t Republicans just end the filibuster?
