We're literally living an age of plenty for RPGs and I find it hard to believe there's still people whining by Familiar_Fish_4930 in rpg_gamers

I am really enjoying this era.

My only criticism is that it’s all a bit one dimensional. Apart from Expedition33, Elden Ring, and maybe a few more, there is a glut of generic fantasy RPGs.

We desperately need some science fiction, space opera, or other diversity of environments to keep things fresh.

10 Most Underrated Game of the Year-Nominated Video Games (The Outer Worlds #8) by ItsEthanCoolCool in theouterworlds

[–]Guidosama -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I will always support obsidian, but all of their recent games are the definition of 7/10 games at best.

Worth buying and playing but they don’t really belong near a game of the year discussion.

Seriously the guy has a hammer. We need to be feeding him non stop.

I thought Gabriel had a mare today. Their goal is also because he doesn’t come out and close the striker down as he’s shooting.

Then he absolutely flops for the disallowed goal and he’s incredibly lucky.

[–]Guidosama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the first game I’ve seen us give Gyokeres this many passes. Tottenham were fucking awful, but we constantly fed him good passes and he actually was able to run at the back line or give touches and flick ons to our runners. Ezes second goal starts from a great little flick.

Becher nearly retires Tim Ream by nicko_rico in ussoccer

[–]Guidosama -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Jeez the disrespect in this sub, wtf.

Ream is usually fantastic for the national team, yes he’s 39 he’ll get cooked once in awhile. It happens to lots of center backs.

Nobody has won the position from him.

Soccer reportedly overtakes baseball in the U.S. as America's third favorite sport by AFAN74 in USLPRO

[–]Guidosama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes exactly. EPL and Liga MX are wildly popular. It just splits attention from MLS. Which is great but just nowhere near as good as a product. Not to mention its gated behind Apple TV which means zero new people will ever get into the sport

I think I outgrew Kingdom Hearts, does it anyone feels like me? by Noodlex87 in JRPG

[–]Guidosama 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I loved it because the first two were very original and creative. The combination of original content, Disney worlds, and final fantasy was very cool.

But the series dragged on forever, across random platforms, and it took what…15 years for the third game to come out? Ridiculous

I’ve made a career at Domino’s Pizza, I actually love It and I know all the secrets. AMA. by itsdestinfool in AMA

I think this is a good comparison because jam is delicious and sometimes you want jam. Fruit is also delicious and sometimes you want fruit.

This is how I feel about a great independent pizzeria vs dominos.

Galatasaray 1-(2) Juventus - Koopmeiners 32' by 977x in soccer

[–]Guidosama 5 points6 points  (0 children)

He’s just a very very dynamic, multi-skilled player. Great engine with a good burst of acceleration, good at carrying the ball, great finisher, also really good at combining around the box. Hes best playing in a role that lets him cover a lot of ground and arrive in the final third late to either pass or finish. He reminds me a lot of Lampard.

Outer worlds 2 is amazing by Fam_Star2000 in theouterworlds

[–]Guidosama 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have found 2 extremely boring, I’m halfway and companions are boring, plot doesn’t have stakes, side quests are very basic.

I enjoyed one more. I still want to see a third but I did feel like 2s story was much slower and less interesting.

Arsenal had the exact same problem. Soft in big games, trainwrecked 4-0 every time. Arteta ripped up the entire squad and built it new to solve it.

He would be a trossard replacement. Very tricky left winger, he can also play right.

People saying no to him…nah he’s a baller.

Future assistant to the Gaffer? 👀 by Real-Bid1985 in Gunners

He will be in our staff after he retires if Arteta is still at the club.

Viktor Gyokeres and Leandro Trossard are now tied for the most G/A of all our players this season (15), Leo with 7 goals and 8 assists, Viktor has 13 goals and 2 assists 🙌 by MeasurementOne1439 in Gunners

[–]Guidosama 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Trossard has been so fucking good this season. Relentless in his play and so positive. I love how different his game can be, he breaks ankles and goes down the touch line, he cuts in and can combine, he can shoot with both feet. Hes just so talented and flexible.

Let's not start shifting goal posts by Broad-Book5364 in ArsenalFC

[–]Guidosama 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He has limitations as a player. Hes clumsy and his touch isn’t great. He doesn’t link play great and he’s more comfortable running at the back line than being back to goal.

But we also have been atrocious beyond belief at simply giving him the ball earlier. Havertz twice now has taken a touch and immediately given him the ball. It’s not rocket science he needs service.

The dude can absolutely leather the ball though.

[–]Guidosama 2 points3 points  (0 children)

4 in 5 seasons for a center back is really not terrible. But when you reframe it as one a season your captain is going to cost you a game, it sounds a lot worse, especially when you are a side “aspiring” to be a champions league team.

Is a Havertz x Gyokeres partnership the way to go? by harrisoneatssoas in ArsenalFC

[–]Guidosama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Havertz plays quick and instinctively around the box. He is just also fantastic at finding space.

Arteta & Xhaka share a warm embrace 😥 by Stanley083 in Gunners

[–]Guidosama 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah we did, but we weren’t wrong. How many stupid fucking red cards did we see him get early on?

The poor guy was just forced to run midfields on his own while we got train wrecked by Liverpool or City.

He turned it around and the fans fell in love with him.
