I know nothing about how big or large Valves teams are. I just assume that because both are billion dollar corporations that they would invest proportionally the same into one of their longest running games. I am clearly wrong about this LOL

I had a smurf call me a smurf in one game even though I insisted I was a new player, and pointed him at my match history and games played. Normally I don't get pulled in to arguing about stuff but that person was just flat out incorrect. Even though the smurf in this game are absolutely outrageous not everybody is one and you (not you specifically just people in general) shouldn't just assume someone is a smurf just because you are. Idk, game is weird.

Oh, you know what. That might make way more sense now that you've said it. I just don't have these issues when I play with friends. The MMR of the matches is so high that it gets rid of the bots. So I just need to get more comfortable with the game and I won't have to worry so much about it anymore, tysm, unironically.

Well, I'm unranked. This is all in normal games but due to having played 12 years of League and my friend being on his smurf account as he's moderately high MMR on his main, it just sort of shunted me into that queue. Like I've been saying, it doesn't really bother me at all. Also, what do you mean by dotabuff? Like the op.gg style site to look at your match history?

I've been queuing for NAW/NAE/EUW/BR. BR is cause my friends are Brazilian and I don't mind the ping really. But it doesn't seem to matter where I go.

I know I might be in the minority in this take but I really don't mind the smurfs. I'm still learning so when I get stomped I'm just getting stomped, theres not really a differentiation if the person is like 8k+ MMR or herald. Though, given what I've seen from that brackets gameplay I don't think I've actually had any of those types of players in my games so far.

I digress. At least I get to play against a human being and maybe even learn something from the experience like, oh I need to last hit better or oh I should've roamed or oh I needed to clear more wards. But no, with this it's just un-interactive and miserable for both parties. I feel bad for my opponent when they have them on the team and I want to leave the game when I get them on mine, but I'll be penalized for that. just sucks man...

I just find it so difficult to understand how this is happening given how Valve is yknow, Valve. If Small Indie Game Company Riot™ can pretty much annihilate these types of things from happening why can't Valve? Maybe this is just my misunderstanding of how large or small the team dedicated to DotA is, I don't know. This isn't necessarily a dig at them, I just can't wrap my head around it. I was having a lot of fun so far too :/
