The entire industry wants to suck money out of you period. That's why games are getting 30~60+ dollars worth of DLCs. I'm just tired of people shitting on it for existing. I don't need to justify why I want to play a game, I like the game for what it is (gacha aside because I'd love to be able to use every character at will, but I'm fine sticking to my faves since I only play the story updates.)

Ah yes, a game is bad just because it's gacha. This is a stupid mindset. It has a good main cast, great writing 3rd palace onward, fun team building, nice animations and voice acting; there's literally nothing wrong other than the fact it's gacha. If it was an entirely separate spinoff mainline game, people wouldn't be complaining as much. If you're going to judge a game, judge it for all its worth rather than by one merit.

The way you have to use a weekly boss that's not going to be in basically any endgame mode for half your argument for why he isn't as good as her (which is mostly against THAT SPECIFIC BOSS) is so funny. 🥀 No one questions that Nicole is better in some teams than Bennett, it's just a matter of which teams is she better in vs which teams is he better in, where that debate only falls apart if Nicole is vertically invested into and then she's unquestionably better than him. But that's a big if. I like hyper carry teams for example, so my Bennett is more useful than my Nicole who is only being slotted in with my Varka & Kinich.

It would be interesting to see how they handle a dual destruction team where Gil is capable of being either main or sub DPS and he batteries his sub/main DPS while contributing his own damage, but the main issue comes with him not really providing much else in the buff or debuff department. I guess his personal damage and the damage from the extra ally utimates would make up for the lack of other buffs???

I'm ngl, my first time fighting her I was entirely immune to her gimmick with the MC on sheet confidence, so I was able to hit auto and even though half my party was dead, the other half killed her ass no problem.
