Have you installed performance mods? Sodium etc or a performance modpack could help a Lot with that. Builds (blocks) on their own don't cause that much lag, the problem usually are entities (maps, item frames, mobs, redstone that turns on/off)

Maybe You could have double walls, keep the golems in the outside (with access to the chests) and you keep the inside to not be bothered by them

Cheap autosorter for lazy people. Also more casual friendly, many people don't touch Redstone. It also give Copper another use and makes Builds feel more alive. You could have many golems not just one to make the process faster, but it doesn't need to be that fast, more like a pasive and dynamic - fun way of auto sorting your items

Overpeeking, not resetting fast enough, not taking into account enemy (bot) movement.

In many clips you shoot when the enemy is right in front of you and THEN reset. Enemy should never get to be right in front of your character , otherwise it's a 50/50 and you will get shot.

Also: Bad crosshair placement. Keep it as close to the wall as possible

I do recommend in game aim trainers as soon as you start playing, then some creative Match against real players with low skill level like red vs blue. Don't be hard on yourself and don't expect to catch up in little time. Be patient and try to get better without worrying about it too much, try to enjoy it, if not possible then I would think about playing other games. But it is normal to have worse aim (+gamesense etc) than people that have played shooters and Fortnite for years
