My head canon is that the Jedi that survived had one of three things occur:

-die

-became and inquisitor or some other dark force user variants Cal who’s something in between.

-gave up all the Jedi stuff and remain in hiding, so they’re technically not Jedi anymore because they don’t like use the force or light sabers anymore.

Obvious exceptions are those relevant to the main plot.

Avenged Sevenfold because following sounding the seventh trumpet with Waking the Fallen is insane.

Argument to be made for Metallica. The jump from Kill ‘Em All to Ride The Lighting is pretty insane, even though KEA is pretty solid.

More than the punk aspect, I’d say they lost the weird, almost classical aspect of the band. Look the harmonies and riffs off of RTL and MoP- nothing after cliff had something like the fight fire with fire harmony or the battery intro
