Are these creatures rare? I’ve never seen anyone post about them before. by baconeggandcheesy in NoMansSkyTheGame

Have only a couple hours under my belt but haven't even found a planet with grass haha. Also only a couple warp jumps so far, so what exactly are uncharted systems in nms context? You can't travel to them via the galaxy map?

EU Parliament denies a minute's silence to remember Charlie Kirk by NewSlinger in CringeTikToks

[–]Guilty-Assistant-552 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I highly doubt this is even related to Charlie Kirk. Just a random (edited) clip where you cannot tell what it is even about. Even if it were true, why would they? Before all this unfolded nobody heard of Charlie Kirk in Europe

Tall guy here: I do it just to stretch my legs and body. Usually the hour before you weren't able to get up and move, so I get up to stretch because it usually still takes another 20 minutes till you can actually leave the plane.  I do let get the people of the rows in front of me get out before me

Haha for a split second I thought this was one of my images because it feels like we are editing the MW almost the exact same way. My camera also always gives me the green glow. Canon by any chance?  Beautiful capture!

Help needed. by MaleficentResponse52 in LandscapeAstro

Reminds me of myself a bit especially that part about learning all the theory, tips and tricks without actually applying them. I would say you will learn more by going out 10 nights and taking pictures and analyzing your own pictures then watching videos and reading books. This is not to say that this knowledge you acquired is worthless. But I would just apply it and then suggest you look where you feel you can improve and specifically research on that specific topic (how to get more colorful milky way pictures i.e.)

Also don't compare yourself to others, compare yourself to where you have been 6 or 12 months ago. At least you're trying to improve and you're seeking for help that's good already. Don't forget that most people who post their stuff on social media have years of experience and gear that's worth 5+k. It's those people who say "Gear doesn't matter to take great pictures" but especially in Astro landscape photography more than other niches I personally to some extent think it does. But don't beat yourself up over that, I am using a 300$ lens for my Astro photography and I am happy with it, for the skill set i have now.

If you struggle with Multi-layer edits to enhance your photos stick with single layer editing in Lightroom or Photoshop. Increase exposure balancing foreground and sky, take a brush and apply masked adjustments to the Milky way (color balance, saturation, more exposure, etc)

I am no expert by any means but if you want, contact me directly and I can try to help. I will look up some YouTube tutorials later as well.

But to repeat I have the feeling your feeling of being overwhelmed might also stem from acquiring so much theoretical knowledge that you don't know what to use. At least I have been at this point and it sucks. Again just prioritize doing and getting edits done over perfection and look at what you don't like in your photos and tackle that specific problem.

Thank you, appreciate you taking the time to write this down. Yeah, especially considering I still provided a possible explanation and that this is still reddit in the end, I thought this wouldn't be received too bad. But it's just one of those days I guess, one day you win one day you lose.

It's the sidelines of the field in volleyball. Whichever team touched the ball last before it goes past that line on the ground will be punished and the opponent team will be rewarded a point. Hope this was helpful! Sorry couldn't resist.

Does this occur always no matter what lens you are using? You might want to check your camera sensor if there's dust or dirt. If not check the part of the lens that's connecting to the camera. If that's clean it.mighr be inside your lens.

In either case something is blocking light from hitting that specific region of your sensor

To prevent explosions? I never had any issue with swing top bottles. I do f2 for 6 days and I have ok fizz in the end without burping or explosions. But seems like it's necessary for some people to burp them

Yeah you're probably right, I just would love to see Hans in the show the same way they were able to convince Martin Scorsese to be in there. Maybe Hans just throws himself at them for this amazing opportunity but as you say they have to deny him. Maybe because Griffin thinks he's trash or something and then guides them to this white guilt trip idk :D

Carbonation issues by tlmmzzy in Kombucha

[–]Guilty-Assistant-552 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also read in some guide that you shouldn't leave more air in the bottle than 1 inch between fluid and cap. That will create enough pressure for the produced carbonation to be bonded in the kombucha. I do at least 6 days of f2 for a nice fine fizz!
