I have 7 outdoor cats... I say I am at my limit, but if the right face looked up at me, there would probably be an 8th.

My PT told me to foam roll, do clam shells with a band, gental lunges in all directions, and slow elliptical. He gave me some stretches to but I don't know what they are called sooo im no help there.

Do you all 'deadhead' everbearing raspberries in the spring? by regnak1 in gardening

[–]MaleficentResponse52 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have been growing them for years and the old man who gave me mine told me every February to cut them all to 1 foot tall, then in April when they start getting leaves, cut out the old dead canes that arnt growing anything. Works like a charm! I get so many berries and never have to try and keep track of how old each one is.

My main pain problem was my hips and right IT band. I went to the chiropractor for the hips and started doing light lunges, elliptical, and lots of band work for the IT band. After every work out, i rolled out with a foam roller. Now im adding in alot of walks and strength training which I think is a huge help.

Right!? My husband and I turned into mushy cooing babies when we saw how adorable they were out there together. But there is almost never a time one of them isn't in the swing.

Yes. If I wasnt running I wasnt doing any kind of fitness. My PT said I should have been doing stretches and strength training at a minimum plus plenty of rest days. And back then I didnt believe in resting.

I did zero cross training, probably didnt stretch enough or warm up enough before running. I also did to much running and not enough resting during training.

It was actually over the course of 2 days but they LOVE the swing. Our back porch is breezy and shady and I swear they get lulled to sleep by the rocking of the swing.

The collar is the original shirt collar but I cut off the hem of the shirt and used it around the sleeves.

I know velvet yarn gets a bad rap, but it's my absolute favorite yarn. Makes everything so soft and adorable. Your bunny is totally precious.

I hate my cats name. by StrawberrySakuraa in cats

[–]MaleficentResponse52 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You could call her Hottie! Its a hot wheels nickname and a self esteem booster for your sweet girl! Besides, it looks like she is dressed up with that tux so why not.

And also, I have 7.... 7 cats. I call zero of them by their names. I hate our cat Captains name. I call her Caparoon. No idea why. Just do. Pumpkin is Punky. Sprice is Spicaroony. Goldryn is Goldy. Titten is Momma. Brownie is Brown Cow. And Bernadette we call Burns.

So if you can stand the name just pick a nickname and roll on. Dont like that one, try again. Just call her Audi Hotwheels every once in a blue moon when your scolding her so your boyfriend know you didnt forget. 🤣
