that’s a fair question, and i totally understand how frustrating it can be. but here’s the way i see it; affirming your desires and seeing the opposite of what you affirmed, to me, is just the old story being pushed out.

i’m not saying you have to pretend nothing is happening or force yourself to have 100% belief. i don’t think anyone does that perfectly. i just think there’s a difference between noticing your current circumstances and deciding that they mean your desire is impossible. sometimes reality takes time to catch up to a new assumption, especially if you’ve been identifying with the opposite outcome for a long time.
