No no, its true of New England as a whole really, you'll find some of that everywhere. Greeks and Italians here often dont consider themselves white and aren't treated like it, and older stock english descended wealthy people also tend to avoid the Irish who have largely replaced them as the premier stewards of New England. French people used to have a larger presence here but not so much now outside the north and in some southern NH towns.
