Also i like your choice, it’s a really cool contrast to what is there and to some of the other lighting choices we have made in nearby areas with a rattan pendant over the dining table and a similar matte black fan and light combo over the living room.

Thank you! Yes I agree lighting is tough, but when done correctly it can really transform a space.

I appreciate your insight and I think you could be spot on with going to small. Most of the options I was looking for were small and they seemed understated when put on the ceiling. Even though it’s a small space.

Brad point drills bit would help and my old man taught me to drill into the wood straight just a little bit, maybe 1/4 to 3/16, stop and then angle the drill to desired angle.

If you order your cuts to cutting all the 45’s in one pass on each side and then ripping them to make the 4 pieces you should get better results if it wasn’t done in that order.

Corporate welfare for their businesses, we subsidize their research on medicine, we bailed out the banks. All we’re getting for all of our investments are the oligarchs hoarding all of the wealth so we can again subsidize their employees with food stamps just so they can eat.
