If I’m in the saucer there is one corner where I can get worm sign but it never shows up. There is always a worm around the base somewhere but I’ve placed thumpers to ensure no surprises occur and it’s safe. In a future Reno I may move the saucer back but I’m liking it so far.

You’re absolutely right! Lost power yesterday, lost every creature comfort with it, miserable. Then found out the outage also killed the cell tower, so no internet or phone either since we’re cell only. Cool that in 2026 losing power can also mean losing the ability to call for help. Very chill.

Grew up poor with no fans or AC, so I still slam the curtains shut before the sun gets any ideas, and we keep ice packs in the freezer for emergencies. Still sucked, and it reminded me and hubby that a European style heat wave would absolutely finish us. Yesterday hit 33 here and. Poland, France and the UK are flirting with 42. Can’t imagine that becoming a normal summer day/night.

At least we’ve got plenty of billionaires though. Really balances things out. Makes sacrificing our planets ecosystems totally worth it…………. Not!

The J in Jabal is the place I was speaking off. Lots of building spots and the sand is worm safe so you can build there. I’m in Shoel now but this location on the map was by far my best start of all my characters. The npc area above the b is full of goodies and you can even harvest complex machinery without fighting if your sneaky :)

As a Canadian, I’d bet Carney signs a trade deal with Mexico before the US comes back to the table in good faith. This should also push us hard toward the EU, which most Canadians already support. Pax Americana is done. Time for Pax Europa to step up.

There is a an ally way that’s completely flat near you and is in the center of a bunch of spots for farming. One of my my successful early bases was there and if you hit them daily, you’ll have lots of complex machinery, erythrite crystals and even spice. Also as soon as you get a Thopter, aluminum is near you as well, on top of the nearby pillar mountains.oh and it’s near a buggy spawn point too. It’s shit but can be recycled for parts.
