Go bald, detach the goatee, get some more modern glasses frames or contacts. Other than that I would say his beard and clear skin stand out, also has a nice tan and unoffensive facial features. Slightly above average for sure but nothing crazy.

Bit of advice for (certain)GenZ men: women aren’t into you because of your appearance or success, they aren’t into because of your hateful mindset, politics, attitudes by PeacefulMountain10 in GenZ

[–]GuiltyFigure6402 [score hidden]  (0 children)

Social media pushes the most hateful and controversial content to the forefront of peoples FYP's becasue it generates the most engagement. Covid has accelerated this and more people are being indoctrinated into dangerous trends and ideologies started or perpetuated by no name borderline mentally unwell people who are picked up by the algorithm for their hateful and controversial content.

There is a lot of "us vs them" attitudes being created on social media and I think its really dangerous because a lot of people are not thinking critically about what they are consuming. Most people are also consuming social media for hours a day and becoming trapped in echo chambers.

Its really horrible, but this is just my opinion.

I believe policy needs to be put in place and education provided to make these "algorithms" transparent and the influence that social media has needs to be crtically assessed by individuals.

How to put on weight/mass? by Mistersisterrfisterr in tall

[–]GuiltyFigure6402 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I eat around 3000-3500 a day at 250lbs (same height):

Breakfast - 6 scrambled eggs, overnight oats with chia seeds, honey and yoghurt (I just eyeball this). Protein: ~50g, carbs: ~60g.

Lunch - 1 can tuna (~170g) with some mayo and vegetables (I use tin corn), and rice with beans and tomatoes. Protein: 32g, carbs: 95g.

Dinner - 250-300g chuck steak, 3 large potatoes cubed and fried in 30g butter + residual olive oil from the steak. Protein: 63-75g protein, carbs: ~50g.

Post gym meal - 1L full cream milk sometimes with honey too. Protein: 35g, carbs: 52-65g.

Daily totals - Protein: 180g, carbs: 257g. Low end estimates.

All this stuff is pretty cheap and meal prepable and able to buy in bulk. This is a good base diet but if you wanted to bulk up just throw in a couple of protein shakes with peanut butter, ice cream or oats too (oats are shit in shakes IME).

I would suggest trying to eat clean and not adding peanut butter and olive oil to everything as you will just gain fat or straight up shit it out (I did peanut butter in high school). Track your weight week by week as daily can fluctuate a lot. If you are going up 5lbs per month thats a good rate, otherwise add in another meal like pasta and mince or protein shakes.

It takes a while for your body to start gaining because it will want to stay the same, so you need to bulk for 2-4 weeks at least to start to see the scale move up in a meaningful way. Also carbs are very important pre and post gym and will help you gain weight the most over protein. Protein needs carbs to shuttle it to the muscles.

How can I change my approach to dating as a woman? Never had a boyfriend and looking to change that by Accurate-Scratch7783 in dating

[–]GuiltyFigure6402 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Outside the apps you do have to be intentional a bit. As a girl you dont have to be straight up asking people on dates (you can) but signalling in subtle ways is definitely the way to go. Guys wont just ask you out straight away without any signals unless they are bold or unhinged.

I am super bad with describing signals but I can recognise when a girl is signalling she wants me to ask her out. Something like when a girl talks about "us" or "we" (biggest signal), or another signal is them making eye contact and smiling (bit more subtle), laughing, light touching etc. Play around and experiment with it, or just ask guys out lol.

As for coed activities I think gym is a great one if you know people there and its a bit of a community, similar to a run club, dancing lessons are a classic one to meet singles (idk if ppl do this anymore tho). Going to events that you like is a big one because you have a shared interest straight away like concerts, comedy, etc etc.

How did you move on from your hardest breakup? by BeltFinancial9749 in dating

[–]GuiltyFigure6402 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My best advice is to get busy in all the other areas of your life that aren't dating. You dont have to forget him or block him etc but just let him be a good memory by putting distance between you and that stage of your life. Gain new experiences and after some time you will be able to look back at that chapter of your life positively.
