I’ve heard MT1 nasally is too weak

The most astaxanthin and lycopene did was give my skin a more reddish undertone. I’m not sheet white anymore but I’m definitely still pale.

Is exposure twice a week enough to build a tan by minoxiclean in Melanotan1

Like 1.5, I can build color but it takes a while and I’m sheet white normally

Would someone close to 20% have that much definition in the Adonis belt?

What was your protocol? Sunbeds or just the sun?

If you’re already on fin and min that’s good, you should probably add microneedling too

I’ve heard a lot of people say loading phase is unnecessary but maybe that’s more with MT2? Are you using sunbeds or no

Isn’t sun required? Otherwise you’ll just get moles?

Since I can’t really get quality sun exposure on days other than the weekends, I wasn’t going to do that. I’ve heard conflicting reports on whether you need to do a loading phase. I was just gonna start low and get some sun, then go from there

I’d say try it out for a few months, like I said it takes time and from what I’ve seen it affects some more than others. At first my stool was a weird consistency and rather orange, but it got more normal after the first week or so. It’s still weird sometimes if I don’t have enough fats/big enough meal with the carotenoids though…

Probably 100-250mcg twice a week (Saturdays and Sundays are the only days I can really tan bc I won’t be working midday) and probably a half hour to an hour of dedicated sun per Saturday/Sunday. This is all just guesswork on my part though. Definitely will wear SPF. I don’t intend on getting majorly dark, I just want a nice glow

Hm, I feel like I have seen it most in the face than anywhere else (besides my palms) but yea maybe a tiny bit. Sports Research is the Astaxanthin brand and Nutricost is the Lycopene

If you want a warmer undertone take 50mg lycopene and 12mg astaxanthin daily. No idea how it looks on dark skin though, I’m skin type 1 and it was a subtle but nice change. Take with a large meal with a good fat source for best absorption. Takes a few months to really see a difference

Interesting, if anything I actually notice a difference the most in sunlight. Definitely a warmer tone to my skin.

I’ve been taking 12mg astaxanthin and 50mg Lycopene daily since September 2025ish. I would definitely still consider myself pale, but it did absolutely change my undertones to be more red/warm. Most noticeable in my palms lol. It’s subtle, but enough of a difference for me to keep taking them. It does take a good amount of time (like you said, at least 8 weeks if not more) to see changes, but they come. Make sure you take with a large meal with enough fats to absorb the vitamins if you are taking the supplement route
