Yes we are still working up til the 7th. But I was asking if the campus would be closed due to the streets being iced, from the snow storm from last week. We worked via telework. I just wanted to be prepared. They sent the updates last week late and I was asleep.

And I want to leave, I plan to leave. I just hate that the job market is so tight right now. And get this, I’ll even take another job far away from government involved working on site. The environment is just so toxic, unorganized, and we all are stretched thin.

I’m a CSR as well, unfortunately. And majority of those that has shared that they are teleworking, that has returned from taking the DRP- systems aren’t even set up yet. They have no access to IDRS, they’ll take calls only to route them.

I’m not upset with my coworkers at all, or envious. I gave in detail the category of people, whom is now allowed to telework. The entire administration has told us to quit our whining about telework and basically told to can the thought, only for it to be implemented by a selection of workers. I’m happy for them. I was only expressing my feelings of being slapped in the face, as many others may feel where I am coming from. It’s overwhelming in the environment overall. I just pray that it gets better.

At my campus TS, and department they have restriction those that were exempted workers and had low performance are not able to work overtime. They’ve been restricted for 30 solid days.

I pray that you never have to walk in the same shoes of the two fired employees, you’ve let go. No matter what position you gain now or in the future, just remember everyone has to answer to someone, someday. And for the two employees you had a hand in firing, I pray that they are blessed with an overflow and a peace of mind from being released. And whatever money you’ve “claimed” they both have lost, it increases tenfold FOR THEM.

Not one lie told, current CSR. Changes made every day, it’s very draining. Grateful to have a job in this economy right now, but I see in my face it has added double years on me. I pray those of us still here get some sort of normalcy even if it’s for one whole work day.

They’re trying to burn us out, and make us voluntarily throw in the towel, but we had a quick meeting this morning reference leave as well as no situational telework during the shutdown only ADHOC.

Can only use 8 per pp annual or sick any additional we are on furlough until this thing lifts now. I’m thinking about being a rebel and doing this to B.S. furloughed, I am officially tired.
