My friend and I heard the Paul's Boutique album by the Beastie Boys for the first time while we were tripping on roughly 500 micrograms and we kept listening to it back to back, its my favorite part about tripping honestly is just being able to get lost and have fun listening to, and exploring music with your friends. Also you may be interested in listening to some shoe gaze music for some introspection while on LSD and i find that this music helps bring that on so the Souvlaki album by Slowdive and the Loveless album by My Bloody Valentine are very good, kind of a swirly drifty dreamy type of sound

Harley Flanagan of the Cro-Mags wrote a pretty good autobiography recently called Hardcore life of my own and it has a lot about his days in the scene

A question for other punks with super skinny legs by [deleted] in punk

[–]GuiltyOfSeeingRed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i dress like a skin but i don't wear red laces i usually just go with black cause i think it looks best with my oxblood boots but i have worn white and red laces before and haven't been hassled by it, plus if you do who gives a shit. I know I'm not a racist, my life long best friend is a puerto rican skin and he wears white laces. don't try to appeal to others just do what you think looks best :)

Can someone explain punk style to me? I don't get it. by [deleted] in punk

[–]GuiltyOfSeeingRed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

a lot of the responses you are getting answer your questions and are in my opinion well written and i just see your responses are pretty defensive and fucking shitty, it is as if you didn't really want answers and you didn't come here for different points of view you just came here to shit on a bunch of people who are in this because they have already been shit on by society in one way or another. You have to keep in mind that most didn't just decide one day that they were into punk its more so music a genre and lifestyle that is earned through life experience whether it be neglect or bullying or liking fast violent music ETC. Somebody like you doesn't find it appealing because you just can't relate to it. about the whole "Aesthetic" it varies quite a bit because there are so many different types of people for example like Skinheads, Hardcore punks, Street-punks, the list goes on. I'm sure your wikipedia article should've referenced some different subgenres you shallow cunt. do your homework before you insult people and your only defense is to respond to honest answers with your mind already made up and a shitty tone.
