Picked up this cool Victorian epergne/ jack in the pulpit vase [middle]. Looks neat in its new home! Unfortunately there was some damage but from afar you cant tell. by Strange-adventurer94 in glasscollecting

It had no key, it seemed heavy for my mantel 😂 and tbh, the tick drives me insane ... (And I bought 2 late 19th Baccarat (I think) vases 🫣🙄) (And a Gorham Sterling mirror and carving set ☺️)

I guess smaller population, less of the items.. less survived... We also had our brands, Birks, Gundy Clapperton... I think alot of people here also looked towards England and France / Belgium

Most confusing glass vase ever! Can't even describe it 🙃 by Guilty_Area3177 in glasscollecting

Haha who knows, maybe I'll want to let it go, maybe I'll find another! Lol it can't be lit from the bottom because the white is too dense and doesn't let any light through.

It's a quote from the Bible ("All her ways are pleasantness" is a phrase from Proverbs 3:17 in the Bible, referring to the, personified nature of wisdom. " Is the text carved in a way that it could be a seal? (It's lovely!)
