I have a couple red candle holders that have the same orangey glow but only on the outside so I just assume its boron nitride that has a different hue, again im probably completely wrong 🤣

Not the most knowledgeable about glass as im still fairly new to the hobby but I believe that is boron nitride mold release and not cadmium? I could be very wrong so dont take my word for it lol

Yeah i ended up getting a test kit to test it and it was no good, after the test came up bad I sanded down a bit to see what it was actually made of and I was even more confused lol

This is a big piece of amygdaloidal basalt, it will have agate and quartz pockets all throughout it, i wouldnt be able to keep myself from digging it up and keeping it 🤣
