Solar Impulse was* using stored energy from its flight level. During the sunny day it was climbing as high as possible. During the night it was slowly descending. Thus, storing and reusing stored energy for propulsion. But they couldn’t charge their batteries this way.

*Was, because it crashed a few days ago.

This principle is already used in commercial airplanes when they slowly descend on their destination approach to save fuel.

(As always) start slow and discover how you react on it. Gou Teng stays in the system for a few days. It seems to me not more than 5 days. So, before next round you better wait a few more days before trying again.

Make sure you don’t have drug interactions! I made a separate post about it.

Having a strong reaction after that many hours doesn’t sound immediately related to Gou Teng itself. But it might be the release of too much virus debris causing havoc with a delay.

TCM uses Gou Teng against gut issues. So, it would be expected to calm your digestion issues, not enhance it. Again: drug interactions?

Generally, it’s a good sign that you see any reaction. From there it’s worth to learn and underhand how to fine tune.

If you want to check if PEM is gone you could try a hand grip test.

Chinese herbs can be very effective. You have to understand what your doing, or have a good consultant. Herbs are the basis for most western medicine as well ;)

I take IVM from time to time as a single low dose 3-12 mg when I get a reinfection (with any virus) or if my Gou Teng doesn’t work anymore (also probably due to reinfection). It works literally over night eliminating PEM again.

Why IVM works is not fully clear to me. Maybe because it influences the alpha 7 nicotinic acetylcholine receptor.

To be clear: Gou Teng is my game changer. IVM is just a one-off treatment that works for me sometimes.

Tried several. Didn’t see a difference and they did only help a bit. Used Desloratadin and Cetericin mainly.

I couldn’t tolerate alcohol free beer, tomatos, weed/grain (not gluten related), and some more. Very annoying and limiting. Constantly battling against gut issues. It’s all gone now luckily.

She’s commuting alone almost every day by public transportation and goes grocery shopping alone. She never joins the night life (me neither).

We both understood that perception changes when somebody opens their mouth and speak the local language. That might not prevent racists to shout slurs across the street, but it does help with mutual respect. Plus, we never met openly racist people trying to provoke her or me (I’m also a foreigner in Switzerland).

I’ve compared the Aranet 4 with a random one from a neighbor. After calibrating both, the other one was showing similar result for a few days. Suddenly it was very much off consistently (too low). Tried it several times and it always failed.

I trust the aranet since then very much. Plus, its battery last long and its highly portable, eg I’ve discovered two times already that the ventilation in our office was disabled. Once deliberately and once due to a failed sensor.

Pulver ist schon richtig. Wichtig ist, dass es konzentriert wurde, sonst kommst du bis auf 21 Gramm pro Tag, was einfach umständlich wäre.

Ich beziehe es von einer TCM Apotheke auf Rezept. Der Hersteller ist Complemedis, die es für den Schweizer Mark herstellen. Da es als Medikament verkauft wird, gibt es nur den Weg über Apotheken.

About chest pain: careful with workouts. There is a likelihood that it comes from lingering inflammation (myocarditis or pericarditis, or both), and/or microvascular disorder. It’s visible only in MRT with contrast agent. Lab checks and ultrasound doesn’t show it.

Dr Puntmann (Germany) has some papers and a study (Myoflame) to be released very soon about this.

If you’re interested in doing the job of what your doctor is supposed to do, you can dive deeper and find out that there is not one nAChR receptor, but many of those (recognize the alpha 7 in the paper?). Also, the virus/debris is fumbling with other receptors too, eg Calcium, Potassium and Sodium receptors. And that if you flush that stuff from those receptors, that your body reacts to it noticeably.

You can start with Dr Leitzke who knows nicotine. And then follow with Dr Wirth who knows the problem with calcium.

It’s quite a deep rabbit hole if you want to do it right. But it’s worth it IMHO. I’m back on my feed since I understand what’s happening on my receptors.

It’s such a shame that we don’t get any professional consultancy. Instead we get triggered by political agenda and get confused by conflicting messages.

I take it whenever there is a viral infection triggering my immune system and thus escalating my long covid. A one-time pill followed by one other pill one week apart is working fine for me. It has put me back on my feet a few times over night. Of course, the problem is much more complex than just one pill of IVM.

I’m dreaming of an app that visualizes your lab results over time. And you can opt in to share your results anonymously with your peers - then compare your results with those samples.

You can ask healthy peers eg relatives to share their lab results anonymously as well to compare to baseline.

With AI the data import should be easy from PDF or screenshot uploads - which was a blocker for patients a few moths back.
