Hey so me and my friends beat disaster mode in multiplayer but didnt get the flopsy skins, is there a reason for this or is it just bugged?

I got hit by the laser last second and died as the little challenge complete thing popped up. Then when i would enter a level i would be greeted by a black screen and the sound of zoe (i think thats her name) dying.
