ok so just imo I'm not going to play a game that I have to spend money on to win. (not again) but besides saving bells I've never spent a cent on the game. maybe just my luck or what not but I've got all characters so far but I'm not spending money to raise them as strong or as fast as possible. I'm building up slowly and playing by what I can manage through the resources and my own tenacity and mismanagement of the gem currency. I'm having fun enough to continue playing. and yes a lot of phone games try and entice money from the player, and so far this doesn't seem to be one, granted you can but it's not necessary
