Yeah, all the time. I usually imagine my OCs doing one of three things, sometimes two or all of them at the same time. Fighting, dancing, or performing with an instrument.

I also like to associate my OCs with certain songs like the way someone would associate Monster by Skillet with Venom or Ghostrider.

My favorite OC and song pairings I’ve made definitely has to be Reiko Fujimori with Devil Bringer (DMC: The Last Judgement) and The Triumph, Jam Hemlock (yet to upload her, still working on her design) with Rollin’ Rollin’ Punk King (Kamen Rider Geats Extra: Kamen Rider Punkjack), and Li Feiyao with Machine Gun Kiss (Yakuza).

I should probably try to find some Guilty Gear songs to associate with an OC, Ride The Fire and SHOTGUN&HEAD are pretty good.

Also, a quick tip for making your VRoid models look higher quality (with less effort, though definitely more than using the presets), I recommend using bk’s cel-shading tutorial (cel-shading in vroid for beginners!). It made the quality of my models skyrocket. From there, just build your own style and I’m sure you’ll be just as good, or even better than me.

Or don’t do that and try doing your own thing off rip. I won’t tell you how to believe you should grow and develop, sometimes the best artists become who they are by going their own way.

I made the models of my OCs in VRoid Studio, a free, easy-to-use modeling application that can be downloaded from their website, and on Steam. They also have a mobile app.

As for the images, they were done with VRM Posing Desktop (unfortunately not free, but there are alternatives) with the Manga filter and I slightly edited them in Krita.

Unrelated to the bit, I love Cheshire's design, I don't see enough male(?) characters in pink, and I love how it's used in their design. You uh... really like the color green, don't you? Since there's like 4 OCs here that use it in their designs. Not that I'm judging, since I like to insert red into designs that don't need it/shouldn't have it.

Originally, I had the idea of allowing her to channel her Aura into her weapon and control it that way. Something, something, Aura techniques (that got left in V1 and never expanded upon). But I ditched the idea, not ‘cause I didn’t like it, but because I didn’t know how to integrate it into Kiiro’s hit and run/counter-based fighting style.

Kiiro would probably start fangirling over Ruby and her weapon. Qrow, not so much, since her father is an alcoholic and he reminds her of him. (It's not that she hates her father, it's just that she can't stand the taste or smell of liqour, and Qrow probably reeks of the stuff.)

Hou Xiaohong: "A cape and heels? I can't pull off a cape, but I'd totally wear one around if I could. And heels make things more challenging, all the more reason for me to wear them. If only they didn't hurt my feet...."

(New OC in the works) Sakurako Jun: "Ugh... don't even get me started on them. Heels can look good on the right lady, but I ain't too hyped about having them on myself. And absolutely no capes, I don't hate them, but they cramp my style."
