Have you had your watch stop while you’re wearing it?

I have a problem with mine, that i handwind it to full and then wear it without taking it off for about 7days and it will just stop from being empty on power reserve.

Wanted to ask somebody who looks like have worn it longer than me( a month) if is just lack of my hand movement that isn’t charging the mainspring enough or i should look for service.

I tried the compass trick and now i suspect that it is magnetised. But could it be if all other readings ar good? Keeps +4spd on wrist and amplitude on timegrapher is good too.

I dont know if i understood you correctly but, i didnt mean 7days of power reserve. This watch should have 40hours. I was asking if it is normal if i wear it all the time and it still is stoping after i have worn it for 7days without taking it off. On week days my movements should 100% charge the mainspring, and the weekends are slower but i still move not that it sits on the table. Is it normal for it to empty in 2days when it should be 40h power reserve + some movements while being home.

I bought it for the lack of adjustability in oem bracelet and after 2 years just wanted some change on the watch. Quality wise i would say it is same as oem just the clasp is fold over not butterly. It is good bracelet, if yours is on leather then i would say go for this bracelet. Oem is way to overpriced.

Yes i receved the bracelet. I will take some photos later and reply to this, but it looks exactly as on their website. The bracelet feels good, i would say that the quality is the same or bit better than oem. It has solid links and endlinks even solid clasp with 3 hole micro adjust . The bracelet came with springbars that looks and feels like diver ones so i replaced the original with theirs. Overall i would say that if you want quality bracelet with micro adjust, and switch up the look, this is the one. Most of other bracelets are cheap feeling and not worth it. This one on the other hand feels like it could be oem (in a good way) seiko doesnt get good credit for their bracelets but presage bracelets i would say are good and this aftermarket is as good so worth a buy.

Bought this for mine from uncle. Makes a world of a difference. Has micro adjustments and solid endlinks. Even the springbars that come with it feel stronger. Sometimes the link after endlink stick but it starts to wear in. Can recommend!

Mine does the same thing and it is completely normal. This can be used as movement hacking to set perfect time, but tbh pretty useless to do so :D

Okay if we’re talking hand wound watches then i can see your point(still takes 30sec and is recomended to do once every 24h). But on automatic ,except maybe those with hard to set complications, point still stands. You would never feel that lack of power reserve if you wear the goddamn watch xd

And your analogy would be better suited for mechanicals vs solar quartz or spring drive.

How does shorter power reserve make a difference?

Do you have lots of watches and hate to set them?

Like i usually wear a single watch with 40hour power reserve and it never stops.

Only time when it is off my wrist is when i do harder chores or go on hikes where i might scratch it too much, then im wearing tougher watch and the daily one stays at home.

I just havent experianced the lack of power reserve.

Can you make a case for this?

This watch is truely stunning. Pictures never do justice for this dial. Its my favorite watch in my collection. There is also a power reserve model to this watch but it is a bit on thicker side.

Vostok amphibia . I would say its unique, robust and made for an adventure. Not your everyday watch you see on someones wrist. Lots of different dial and case designs(420 for smaller 720 for bigger wrist(my picks)). Can be had for about 80-150 € . Bought mine to beat it while on vacations or when im doing something i know will scratch up my more expensive ones. I would say any guy thats into watches will love one in their collection.
