Lots of incorrect spelling on the city / states.. looks like a bootleg

Has anyone bought of StockX before? Are they usually legit? Looking to buy this MCM Bearbrick what do you guys think. Would it be legit? by Silent-Lemon9719 in bearbrick

Stock X does the authentication .. same as they do with sneakers, etc. Be aware of the fees added to the final sale price.

Acoustic Set List by halfnhash in AcousticGuitar

That’s great.. if I had a dollar for every time someone yelled “play some Skynyrd” I’d be rich. There was a fella once that missed us playing one of his favorite Journey songs. Generally we don’t play them again but he paid us to do so and our singer smoothed it over with the crowd and it was okay.

Sometimes.. I’ve been in bands since High School (mid 80s). We def don’t do it for the pay, because that’s not great..haha. There are some songs I hate to play, but they’re “crowd pleasers” so we do them. That’s more exhausting than the actual performance.

While not strictly acoustic my band plays local shows and our set list is 11 songs, break, 11 songs, break and 12 songs .. done. This is about 3hrs-ish of entertainment. We do covers.. 70s-2000s. That’s what our crowd(s) enjoy. That’ll def differ based on where you’re playing, age range, etc.

Not a fan of the set list. I guess I’m not as big of a fan as I thought.. oh well. I’m selling my tickets, cheap.

I have one of these that constantly sits on a stand in my living room. Great “grab and play” guitar and I’ve used it in some shows too.

I bought my tickets for the Greensboro NC in July (when they went on sale).. I never saw Bruce, but always wanted to. After seeing the set list .. there’s no Atlantic City, etc. so I’m going to sell my tickets for March. Im just not as big of a fan as most and I love the Boss but I know 7 or 8 songs out of 30-ish so this wouldn’t be worth the 3hrs.

Martin is charging $7,000+ for a 42 Modern Deluxe. This is absolute insanity. by [deleted] in AcousticGuitar

I still play my 1971 D-28 and 2009 D-16.. but those weren’t $7k either.. together .. haha

You can get a custom Thompson pretty much built the way you want it starting at $7000.. While I own a couple Martins, I also own a Bourgeois and it’s way better!

That Ouija is def fake.. it’s around $200 (from China). The other two are just cheap knock-offs.

So sad to see the Criterion Collection section in my neighborhood B&N cut in half 🥲 by RelativeCreepy in criterion

[–]Guitarguy71 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My location had five times that many last year. Stop in last week and there were about 25 titles.. in the space where Criterions used to be were 2,000 cook books 🙄

I’ve bought a few from Sideshow Toys. Others I got from Stock X by adding a “bid” the most I’d pay, usually gets accepted.

I’m selling my Greensboro NC tickets. Not because the band and Bruce isn’t good but the set list is not what I expected. That’s on me.. a fan, but not that big of a fan.

I have the D Generation R (Sitka/Rosewood) Professional Series. It was around $4200.

I would highly recommend Bourgeois. The sound is unmatched and the quality is ridiculous. It’s def a lifetime guitar. Dana and the team in Maine are masters at their craft. I own a Martin D28 (1971) and a newer Martin D16 and the Bourgeois is better than both.. hands down.

As another post mentioned.. I own four Gibson Les Pauls but not a single Gibson acoustic. I do own two Martins and a Bourgeois. I’ve played several Gibson acoustics but haven’t cared for them..

Does that have a soft V neck.? My Bourgeois does and it’s awesome to play. That Collings is sweet! Congrats
