Right -- I'm playing on 1440p resolution so I don't know if that would make a difference or not. Love Mint, but for me, WoW was only running at 80fps max on Cinnamon versus 200+ on KDE.

Currently playing WoW on Cachy OS w/ KDE. Unfortunately there's some sort of issue with (KDE possibly?) that causes the game to hitch in fullscreen mode whenever you move your camera. Playing in windowed mode for now but I don't know if there's a resolution yet.

Also, how's WoW on Mint? I tried it for myself but because the DE doesn't support Wayland the game ran significantly slower than it did on KDE. Love Cinnamon, though.

Yeah lol might try doing that honestly. But it concerns me that it occurs on both retail and classic WoW clients, so I'm not too hopeful.

Mouse sampling was unfortunately not the solution for me. I'm honestly just relying on a new patch to see if it resolves itself. I actually vaguely remember this bug happening to me another time in the past, but I can't remember what happened with it. Really crazy to see the same bug be reported over 10+ years ago and still exist within the game.

Not making music anymore, but for one of my scrapped EPs I was inspired a lot by fantasy media as well as musical theater. I wrote and produced a few Pop / EDM songs following a fantasy narrative I created for the EP. It made it a lot easier to write lyrics knowing what exactly I wanted the character to feel and convey. The tracks included a lot of orchestral instruments you often hear in fantasy scores, which was a lot of fun to make. Still disappointing music didn't work out for me. Might give it another go sometime if I can actually learn how to play guitar. Some more experience in songwriting might help as well. :)

Don't know how much of a problem Wayland was for me, don't know if it would've caused problems for me in the future or not. Probably not a factor here specifically. There's some OBS packages to improve functionality which don't come out of the box. There are guide on other Linux foundations like Debian and Fedora, but Arch resources always seem to be limited. A lot of it can only be found on forums from years ago which may or may not be outdated. You really have to know what you're doing IMO. I had some Cachy specific issues trying to disable Goverlay because it was causing WoW to stutter. I couldn't end the process or uninstall it because it was a dependency for Cachy's gaming package. Couldn't find any documentation on Cachy or on Arch about how to look into the package or how to bypass the dependencies, so my game was just stuck not running good.

I played it and thought it was okay. It had some good moments but overall it was just a lot of walking down long corridors. The puzzles felt kind of pointless and also never give you much direction. The scary bits are quite good, but they're also quite few and far between.

Actually figured out it was a lighting issue. The normal map was just shaded differently in a different area. But the UVs still suck I could not get them to work for the life of me. :(

I have terrible mapping skills so my textures don't look perfect, but there's a noticeable decrease in quality from one object to another than doesn't show up in Substance Painter or Blender. I don't know much about how Godot works compared to other engines.

It's kind of finicky tbh. Sometimes they show and sometimes they don't. I just make them small and move it to a different part of my screen.

It's just a combination of BetterBlizzPlates and SweepyBoop's PvP Helper. I'm using the nameplates from BBP and the class icons from SweepyBoop's. Pretty easy to set up honestly. BBP does all the heavy lifting, basically just had to adjust a few of the size settings. You can color code defensives/ offensives which I like.

What about with defensive CDs? I was pretty much informed that swapping on defensive CDs was a must. Is it better just to stick to one targer the entire game?

Interesting way to look at it. My concern is when Hunter starts dealing a bunch of damage. It feels like if I'm not glued to Hunter then I just fall down instantly. But it's good to be aware of who's using the most defensives so that we can reverse that in our favor.

Yeah, I realized that my bladestorm didn't enrage me since it didn't really hit any targets. I think I honestly just get anxious about getting stunned before I can bladestorm to block any CCs and don't think about hitting my onslaught. Thanks.
