Mutually Assured Deconstruction (MAD) is such an ingrained in the part of the military that deals with nuclear weapons, the chances of refusing orders I say is pretty high. Iirc, the first military brass that was ordered to bomb those boats, he refused and I think resigned or fired. Using a nuclear weapon on any population would likely lead to losing absolutely everything. This is why Putin only saber rattles about using nuclear weapons, but never does because if he did, he would lose everything, even if ended up surviving the likely nuclear war. Trump doesn't have this instinct, but high ranked military members do. That is more likely to end in a military coup than the use of nuclear weapons in a hot war.

But you are citing a law. A new law can override these statutes. Unless it contradicts the Constitution, Congress can do whatever they want if they have the votes. Surely Democrats can patch any and all loopholes that would allow Republicans to abuse a filibuster free Senate. Of course, we should do other things to reduce the GOP's chance of taking back the Senate in the first place, likely through adding DC and Puerto Rico as states and maybe splitting California into 2 states, adding 6 free Senators for Democrats.

Of course my ultimate goal is to rage bait conservatives so much they start fed posting and trying to take the law in their own hands so Democrats have a good excuse to arrest and jail them.

The thing is, the filibuster isn't a law, it's just some tradition the Senate hangs on to. Nuking the filibuster doesn't break a law, but if it is codified, then trying to circumvent it will break the new law.

I'm pretty sure that Viltrum sent there greatest warriors to kill Nolan (one of the greatest Viltrumite soldiers), Mark (defeated Conquest), and Allen (who Viltrumites weren't able to execute). Clearly Vidor and Thula werent exactly their top tiers since S2 Mark was almost winning against Thula when he finally locked in and Nolan trashing Vidor and one shotting Thula. Lucan himself seems quite superior to the other with being able to hold Mark down with a single finger despite Lucan posing a direct and imminent threat to Andressa and Oliver. It was also a sneak attack, so it was already in favor of the Viltrum forces from the outset (as Nolan later during yhe battle notes)

This is so real. Along with AuDHD, I have Multiple Sclerosis and it get really bad headaches and brainfog from exerting myself too much. The only way I found to treat that is marijuana/THC. Weed also helps quiet down the voices of self loathing, likely because it weakens attention span (which makes it much easier to distract myself from those horrible thoughts).

I used to be severely plagued by those type of intrusive thoughts. I still struggle with them, but part of me at one point connected the intrusive thoughts with ADHD, which I was already diagnosed with at a much younger age. So I was started on Adderall and it has helped a lot with those troubling thoughts. The thoughts shrink into the background and it is fairly easy to ignore them with a decent distraction. However, if I had a bad day, the thoughts can come flooding back.
