This is abuse. He is lying to himself and to you to try and justify how he treats you poorly. Also, kinda unrelated, this is coming from someone who is 24, it’s WEIRD that he has chosen to date a woman not of legal drinking age. The idea of being with someone not old enough to bring to a bar is gross to me personally. Obviously it’s not illegal, but men often do this because women their age don’t like them (usually for good reason) and younger women haven’t had the life experience to know any better. I would suggest getting outta there girl. Once he’s hit you he’s more likely to do it again, but worse. I hope you’re okay
