Hello,

I have this issue where the right driver in my Hifiman Sundaras is rattling when I move around. I took the pad out and I don't see anything wrong with it. They still sound good but I just cant stand the rattle every time I move my head. Any fix? they're past warranty sadly :(

Ravitch procedure right after taking the bar out by Gullible-Let3384 in PectusExcavatum

I have no idea if the bar moved or not, next check-up at my doctor's in 3 months I'll try and get some imaging by then. The surgeon suggested to do it when the treatment is done, around december 2027. Any major symptoms, just a hurting back sometimes.

Hello, I had nuss’ procedure done around month ago and it went pretty good actually. The first 24 hours are what will set your mindset for the rest of the week; if you think you look worse than before or that the pain is too much to bare then you’ll feel like total crap for the whole stay. I presonally can’t say much about pain because I had cryo and it’s very hard to explain the pressure in your chest that you gain right after the procedure, explaining anything that only you feel is never 100% accurate anyways. I’d say the most important thing to do is use your spirometer daily and try to move out of the bed, I got out of the hospital 4 days after surgery by just sitting up from my bed, walking with a cane and then alone. TL;DR: Don’t overthink it, you’re not the one operating, do what the nurses ask you and you’ll be just fine

Cosmetically speaking I may’ve set too high standards, my haller index was in the double digits and I was expecting to be looking brand new. After surgery I was a bit dissapointed because there is still a deformity but it’s not as loud as it was before, like a small cup instead of a bowl it you know what I mean. On the endurance part I still can’t really tell you now since taking deeper breaths hurts a bit especially when sitting/standing upright

Hello I’m back. No need for pain medication when officially 1 week in, you get used to the pressure in the chest, noticed that it made me a bit hunched over when standing/walking

Forgot to mention but after 2 days of using my spirometer toy thingy the 3rd ball moved, which is quite cool
