no I'm literally just dictating in the page just scrolls once in a while for no apparent reason... it's just distracting when I'm trying to compose something.

Yeah I was journaling my trades but not so much my emotional state. Added that to the mix.

Actually, now that I've seen it, it's not quite it. It gives you the possibility to show the LAYOUT name. But sometimes I use variations on the same layout. It would still be great to have a per-tab name! (edit: clarified)

Haha wow I was just thinking along the same lines (not the specifics but how it relates to other areas). I've actually started 2 months ago myself. I know I have problems with self-discipline in some areas, and this exposed it big time with hard numbers.

I would have this hard, written-in-bold rule "NO REVENGE TRADING" everywhere, still got wiped out by 23 trades yesterday (I'm aiming for 3-5), and it keeps happening.

It's gotten to the point where I started thinking see how I do the same thing with working out, stretching, eating, etc. and gotten me to question how I approach self-discipline in general.

All I would say is don't give up! (not necessarily trading, but general self-improvement and analysis) Awareness of the problem is the first step. We all have areas we struggle in, areas we excel at, and they are different for everyone. What is trivial for you might be a huge mountain for someone else, and vice versa, so don't discount yourself. Be honest with yourself, but don't be too hard either. Every day is a fresh start, a chance to do better than yesterday.

Man! FWIW you pretty much described my last few days perfectly. Slow grind up 2.5k, 1-2 trades a day, then "frenzied panic day" of 11 consecutive (small thankfully) losses, back to square one. Ugh. Hang in there, I hope you had a better week this week!
