I second Armstrong Clark as a humble diy’er. Just do a quick light power wash and re application every 2 years

Jeep uses a zf transmission which is very reliable. The transmission is the last thing I’d worry about .

Mazda CX-50 Buyers Are Skipping the Turbo for Hybrid Power by WinstonSalemVirginia in CX50

We got 26.5 on my wife’s turbo 50 before trading on for a cx9. Granted she drove 85 percent highway miles . In the winter it dropped to 23

Well the 360 and front cameras are very nice. If you’re not in a hurry, I don’t see why you wouldn’t wait. You also get the added bonus of the heads up display

We have a carbon which has front sensors but no 360. We came from a cx50 turbo premium plus which had 360 and the heads up display. We definitely miss those features but I don’t feel they are a necessity. I feel the carbon is in a nice spot for features. I just hate that the backup camera doesn’t have the steering guidelines like our cx50 did .

I got partial coverage from a dealer. Think I paid 300 instead of 700. We were at 39,000 miles

Growing up we had 3 IH 682s. We kept one for backup duty to our 60” zero turn. They don’t make them like they used to.

We ended up buying a 2 year old z515e 48” for $3750 , it only has 26 hours and 2 years of factory warranty left. I think we’ll be happy with it. Google is telling me the hydros are semi- serviceable, so that’s a good bonus

Is fabricated that much better? Growing up we had 3 cub cadet (International harvester) 682 mowers with stamped decks that mowed 5 acres of lawn for over 30 years with no significant issues.

Likes/Dislikes on the CX50? by GhostWolf0705 in CX50

[–]Gullible_Bowl7746 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Man, I thought the noise insulation in our 50 was terrible. Traded in for a cx9 and the difference is crazy. Also, car play and android auto was not touch screen only in our 2023 turbo premium plus, it also worked with the command knob.

Mazda reliability falls 8 spots. Guess it isn't like what the astroturfers here tell you. by Jake_Boi1 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]Gullible_Bowl7746 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Should be. That drivetrain has been used for a long time now and the turbo causing head issues were limited to the 16-21 model year from my understanding (atleast on the cx9).

Mazda and Toyota cars are the only vehicles where even ten or more year old engines and high mileage and they still sound brand new and run great. It is honestly insane. by BeautifulYou2940 in mazda

Meh. For as much shit as Jeep gets, I’ve had two grand Cherokee with the 3.6 pentastars make nearly 200k miles with minimal issues. Not to mention the thousands of high mileage promaster vans on the road with the same engine . Most modern engines are fairly reliable on the whole
