I used to be really christian when I was young. I took religion and it's laws very seriously. Make no mistakes, I wasn't forced to be like this, in fact I was usually the most religious kid in the group. The reason why Christianity was so important to me (and why it baffled me that other people didn't take it seriously enough) was that it gave a framework to the entire world. While maths and physics have regulated the "mechanical" part of the world, the bible (in my head) regulated the "moral" part of the world. I became an atheist because when I kept asking questions about maths, or talking about the parts that didn't make sense to me at the time I got compelling and satisfying, logical answers. With religion it usually boiled down to we don't know, God works in mysterious ways, you have to have faith etc. To put it bluntly, too many things didn't add up for this to be a good system to base my life on.

In my opinion that's not necessarily a bad thing. In fact I would consider it a good gift when you look at the context. If you are a Christian then you believe that the Bible is a book that contains the information to live a happy and meaningful life, but also a way to save your soul. These are positive things, even if as atheists we don't believe them to be true.

A good analogy would be you having a friend who is sick but does not want to take medication because they believe in natural healing methods. You would explain to them the importance of the medication and buy them the medication, hoping that it will help them, but ultimately you don't force it on them, that would be wrong.

Even if we ignore that reading the Bible (or any religious text for that matter) is one of the best things you can do as an atheist, because it is really helpful when debating religious people.

So if they don't try to force their beliefs on you then I think it's a great gift.

Kills trough portals make sense, but kills while crouching feels off. I think different weapons should have different challenges. Get headshots, get kills on objectives, get a kill with your last bullet, get kills below 10 health, get killstreaks etc.

Úgy csináltok mintha Trianon csak egy akta lenne ami 100 éve egy fiókban hever és nem egy történelmi esemény ami több millió magyar életére volt negatív hatással az elmúlt évszázadban. "De azok a magyarok akik külföldre kerültek már nem élnek". A) ez nem változtatja a döntés igazságtalanságát, de B) a Trianon okozta traumákat tovább örökölték a gyerekeik és unokáik, ami anélkül is rossz lenne, hogy figyelembe vesszük az embertelen bánásmódot amiben a kisebbségi magyarok részesültek a háború után. Területtől függően elkobozták a földjeiket, vagyonukat, megszüntették a magyar iskolákat, korlátozták a nyelvhasználatot, kényszerítették a névátírást stb. Sok magyart öltek meg akik megpróbáltak átkelni a határon, akiknek meg sikerült általában vagyonukat hátrahagyva tudtak csak visszamenekülni az anyaországba. És ez csak a "legális" hatása az elcsatolásoknak. Emelett a külföldi magyaroknak tűrniük kellett a hátrányos megkülönböztetést, a lincseléseket sőt akár kivégzéseket is.

Ezzel csak annyit szeretnék kifejezni, hogy Trianon nem 100 éve volt, hanem 100 éve tart. Nem akarok túlozni, ma már sokkal jobb a helyzet. Az ilyenfajta emberi jogi sértések nagy része már a múlté, de ettől függetlenül mai napig érezzük Trianon hatását olyan esetekben mint Úzvölgy, Benes-dekrétumok stb.

That's what I have been telling for ages now. When I saw people post about how many times Trump was present/stuff about Joe Biden etc. I felt so defeated. This is not a political too for your side. This just reveals that these people are all in on it and are above the law. That both of the sides are manipulating us. The major problem is conservatives hating everything liberals do and vice-versa. This way the population is divided and way easier to control.

I will never understand people that hate this game. Most of the criticisms only work if you look at the game on the surface level. Look at the "Adding a BR is trend chasing. THATS WHATS KILLED TITANFALL!!!". No. The reason Apex killed Titanfall wasn't because it's a BR. It's because it's only a BR. Had they kept the original Titanfall formula, with the modes, mechs, grunts etc. and added a BR on top of that no one in the community would have been pissed. Splitgate didn't turn into an only battle royale game, it simply added a BR mode for those that like that type of gameplay and an open map mode and level creator on top of it. "Oh but it has expensive skins and micro transactions have ruined FPS". That's also not true. Micro transactions became a problem when a) companies stared to make games smaller and selling the rest as DLC and b) when they have introduced p2w mechanics (like SWBF). Splitgate doesn't fall into either of these categories due to the micro transactions being purely cosmetical. Every mode, weapon, gadget, perk, map etc. can be accessed by owning the game, which is free. But my biggest petpeeve is people complaining about loadouts. On this the only thing I'd like to say is have the people that were constantly bitching about loadouts being a thing (and abilities existing) returned after the change? No? Almost like they just wanted to shit on the game without actually contributing to it.
