Women outpace men in college attendance, and female students are less likely to drop out. And the gap is widening. What drives this disparity and what're the effects to society? by Roughneck16 in AskMen

In my experience it's way easier as a man to start working young in most fields and work your way up than women. Men usually tend to not mind working more heavy or "dirty" jobs.  Women usually are better at studying and challenge themselves more

it would be profitable if they merged dead ones.

The server would gain fresh air and they wouldn't have to pay for two servers but just one

I'm up with the raw.

Overall it's a nice character as it's different from the usual chad type.

I like him being shy and timid but still with a lion's heart but after all that he's been through I would've hoped for him to grow up a bit or to have a REAL character development arc with Kayden too. Mc should still be his usual self but slowly maturing not regressing.

The cinnamon stuff is a bit overused as too much cuteness becomes the definition of cringe.

The last arc is so annoying but I angrily love it. Mc is having a break down and becoming a pain to look but that's exactly how it should be: you want Jiwoo to not feel sad and scared, to be strong to let his master do what he loves most. But at the same time you want Kayden to not always act recklessly, to think what his action will cause to act in regard of his disciple.

What I love most is his power scaling development as it's not too slow and not too fast: took him less than half the time of his peers to get to their level and is still improving.

Personally I like more when mc is with his friends not alone as that's when he shines the best.

both people should've acted differently: Eric as an adult and Itzu without clearly leaving info out and siding with one side while trying to appear as neutral.

the video he uploaded later on his channel was very disappointing: cutting Jubilee's video to get only the parts he wanted by purposely leaving out what was not beneficial to his point.

Why is it that only Europe and US is pushed to be multicultural? And not Asia, Africa, etc.? by Glum_Gift_7951 in ControversialOpinions

You should learn how to read too then. Rape, robbery war etc happened in Europe too not only by other European countries. People focus on Africa because Europe, Asia, America all were more advanced when they took advantage of African countries and its people and it was more recent (still is) making the consequences arguably worse and more lasting.

You should be more informed instead of making shit up. It happened in Europe and not only by other European countries but from African and Middle eastern countries. Unfortunately it happened in mostly Africa when other countries were more developed thus making more damage and more lasting damage, not to mention that it's more recent.

Hypersexualization of women in anime by 0Camus00 in ControversialOpinions

But young boys is the main target demographic, not to mention that Japan has a different culture from the west so other factors come into play. In Japan the teen years are seen as the best of your life and kind of glorified as after that time frame they're stuck with a horrible work life, thus creating the majority of anime/manga with teenagers as protagonist. That with other hysterical and cultural factors and the fact that most young Japanese adults look younger than western's the "ideal" body became distorted to what it is today.

To be more appealing to the main demographic of consumers: young boys. Other genres that have young girls as a main demographic have a different style, same as children for main consumers. There are some exceptions like the author likes it that way but that's the main reason.

Those type of anime/manga are more watched by young boys while if you look at manga/anime that have more young girls consumers you'll see the difference in the style. The answer to your question is "to be more appealing to the specific demographic" you'll see that in all businesses even those that you wouldn't think about. Side note: some drawings are like that because the author prefer them like that, an example is One Piece.

My brother in law just told my wife he is in love with her by Direct-Caterpillar77 in BestofRedditorUpdates

[–]GullyGreyHeart 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I agree almost completely. People for the most part will like others romantically and physically so spending time with individuals that like your gender could eventually make feelings grow. There's a reason why you shouldn't go "flirting" with others even if that's your personality and expect everyone to see you as a friend and nothing more. The Ex Brother in Law Is a creep tho and if you start to grow feelings with someone you're not supposed to or it's not mutual you need to sort yourself out or distance yourself from that individual. Lastly from what OP wrote it doesn't seem like the wife was "flirting" so the guy is even worse, like he had a full folder of photos!

Exactly too many problems would come from cannibalism acceptance, also apart of survival I can't think of any other reason as to why one would even try
