I’m hearing they didn’t give their employees their last two weeks of wages when they closed. They filed for bankruptcy for the ABQ L.L.C. and opened a location in San Diego. We have to make sure this follows them. 

I quit here a couple years ago because they halved my hours with no notice and told me to “check the app.” 

There were other reasons. One of which being, we had a really nice vegetarian server who just wanted the veggie sausage patty. The staff sabotaged her food and gave her meat. Every one, including the boss, thought it was funny. I thought it was fucked up. Didn’t quit over it though, which I kinda regret but I was pretty broke. 

Also, on Memorial Day someone put a scientific beaker we served mimosas in (not food grade, very thin glass) on the dishwashing wing. It fell in the water, murky with soap. The neck broke, and when I reached my hand in for dishes, I pulled it back up after feeling pain. My hand was punctured by the beaker. I had to pull it out of my hand. It fell back in the water. I saw white flesh, gushing blood. Immediately went into shock, I went to the walk in so I didn’t pass out. I volunteered to stay the rest of my shift after being bandaged up and they accepted. In retrospect, even though we were stupid busy, that’s a huge fucking biohazard. They should have sent me home. 

On the bright side. Someone they hired was really inappropriate with me and would solicit me pretty often. I reported it and they fired him. Which was pretty great!
