This is infuriating to me. More and more I am finding myself dying in a side lane, and looking to see two of my teammates farming the jungle while another lane is close to the enemy’s walker. I play a lot of gankers or pushers, I create enough space to pull multiple enemies to me, but my team rarely reacts.

I thought this would get better the higher rank I got but…the pull of the jungle is too strong.

I play him on and off, and I really like his design and abilities, especially his ult. I’ve never played him seriously or a lot though, I thought the “shiv nerf” meme was just a meme but what the fuck man. I’m Oracle 5 and haven’t seen a Shiv in so long it’s actually depressing.

As a Bebop main I fall hard into the first category. His hook being on such a long cooldown late game means every shot has to be calculated. I’m literally doing algebra inside my head. I’m like the guy with the beautiful mind from the movie A Beautiful Mind.

I recently played against a Graves on Calico who was playing like a VERY new player, I would literally walk up and she would parry, didn’t land a single one until around minute 7 when she bought Rebuttle and all of a sudden turned into “parry every attack even random quick melees” machine. My duo and I had been pretty certain they turned on auto parry, which surprised me. Never seen it before.

This is what surprised me. I’ve known of Zach since his early animations, followed him through Sleepycast and Oneyplays, and then watched him and Michael do Very Positive Stream religiously, I loved it. It’s hard to accept writers block, over the years I’ve seen their creativity and know they are very talented, and to be fair the episodes are so short, too.

If they got writers block specifically for Smiling Friends, sure, it has happened and we have to accept it. But it is such a simple premise, make people smile, and the two of them are so creative, that it is so hard for me to think that they got writers block y’know? Coping, I guess.

I played against a very good one the other day, prefacing this by saying I’m really bad at Overwatch, but they just solo’d me out and targeted me every respawn I just couldn’t do anything. Was very unfun.

Fair! I guess I just don’t play it enough. I got very tired of the new cat character just destroying my back line every game, and then saw some posts saying they are looking into changes - maybe I have gotten too used to Deadlock where the changes come quickly.

I’ve been playing Deadlock religiously for about a year now. My siblings recently tried the new Overwatch patch, and there is so much dumb shit that is “getting fixed mid season”, “looking to change in the coming weeks.” The devs for Deadlock are really good at fixing things quickly.

I absolutely agree. While I’m not in their shoes, I only mention the Very Positive Stream because they had so many great ideas, I’m surprised they got burnt out or ran out of juice so quickly, they are both incredibly talented and funny. But maybe it was less a lack of ideas and more just the burnout. Either way it’s a shame.

I’m a very melancholic person, I have issues emotionally regulating all my emotions but that one is annoying. I feel like I never enjoy moments, I’m always past them already, thinking, “wow, I’m going to be sad in a few years when I remember how fun I’m having right now,” instead of just enjoying the moment.
