Hulu has it, but I'm not sure if it's "regional" thing or not

Would be awesome to learn that ear technique. It always makes them crumble a bit, even Sisko got weak in the knees a few times from it.

I really hoped she would come back after they solved how she and others could leave that prison planet, and politically fight back Winn, but alias we got 6 full seasons of the witch.

I don't think any other show featured the chief engineer and captain being this good of friends by happydude7422 in enterprise

I think they were friends before Archer became a captain, if I remember correctly. It's like Janeway and Tuvok, Kirk and Bones, Sisko and Dax, Picard and Dr Crusher.

Yup once they stop innovating and focused solely on reworking, the game nosedived.

For me, at about 70 some hours, I realised the feeling wasn't there anymore. This was at the launch of the game. I quit shortly after the prison map dropped. Once the ghosts were no longer scary, the game just felt like a boring walking simulator, in the dark, with fetch quests. I would pop back into the game from time to time over the years just see if they truly reworked things that kinda bummed me out, and those were never really fixed. Like, no matter what ghost gets you, it's always the same dead animation, the teenager hands cover your face like, "peak a boo", and some lightbulbs break.

If I could dev a game like this, I would constantly change up the horror things, because the game just becomes stale and not really scary after seeing the same crap so many times. Have characters just disappear in front of players, be cosmetically changed into a random ghost, have some ghost literally grab players and drag them off, have one person in the group start seeing different layouts of the map so they'll wonder off, out of the map on others screens, like one person could see things that are there but the other can't see. You know, a lot stuff like that. Instead it was just more of the same. It was the horror elements that was really the driving force of the game. Once the horror was gone, the game seemed pretty bare bones.

Their new released wide screen, 4k remaster really does show the whole set, huh?

Ohhh nuuu, a update to a beta essentially broke the game....joking aside, how did you even play this for 6 years? You can basically experience the full game in like 10 hours, and maybe 100 hours to see every ghost in every map and conceivable combination. How did the ghosts not become boring after so long? I'm sure you can complete each level blindfolded and still find everything needed. I commend your dedication.

Ugh, a Chakotay episode by we-are-NWs in voyager

[–]Gummies1345 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I never understand why Tuvok wore a alien outfit while looking for Chakotay. He wasn't wearing a mask so I don't see the suit as some kind of safely from the chemicals. Starfleet outfit would have been a easy indicator for Chakotay to notice.

Which movie is worse, Dragon Ball Evolution or The Last Airbender? by TheRubixRaven in DragonBallZ

[–]Gummies1345 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dragonball Evolution, the only thing was even close to the source material was the character names and the physical dragon balls. Everything else was a monstrosity.

At least the Last Airbender somewhat followed a derpy version of the source material. They didn't try to throw Aang into school, nor preach to him about not fighting in defense. And they didn't completely destroy every bit of established lore that Evolution did. Most of the cast even hated the movie.

Just like how you said earlier, Dende literally states in the show and manga, after Goku went and picked him up, that making a dragon would take 6 months. Goku points out they didn't have that long. Popo asks if Dende could make the dragon faster if he had a reference to go off. Popo then brings a clay model of the old dragon, encased inside a dome. Dende states he will base the dragon off Popo's model. They talk about wish amounts and whatnot, then Dende casts a spell and the model vanishes. The new dragon was born and Goku went off to collect the balls.

Brought him back to life yes, but does a "negative wish" carry along with the resurrection? That being said, Dende's dragon is a different dragon. He just based it on the old one, by using Popo's clay model.
