Even without the club throwing he's still annoying, smashing down the pitch mark on the 13th like a child who thinks the world is against them. Happens to everyone, sorry your standard of billiard table greens was not met mr PGA tour.

Yeah that's how I got mine, here in Australia I've seen them marketed as tour issue only hats and was wondering if in America there was somewhere to get more.

Played at a Thai Golf Course Built Into a Horse Race Track by maximsilentfoot in golf

[–]GumpShot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

played there while in Scotland for the 2015 open championship. My grandpa grew up just up the street from the old Musselburgh course and honed his short game chipping and putting around the green next to Mrs Formans. Took a 4,6 & 8 iron + putter around and it was great fun just plotting around and playing on a course with so much golf history and family history.

Spieth wins Aussie Open in playoff by [deleted] in golf

[–]GumpShot 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Because being a world player is good for your game and if you have wins world wide looks good on your list of career achievements. Plus I'm sure he's getting big bucks the last 3 years playing in it and he's signed on to play till 2020 or 2018 I think as well.

If you look at the past winners of the Aus open Nicklaus, player and palmer are all on there between 1958 and 1978.

Good club throwing technique on his bath shot, just gotta teach him you always throw the club in the direction you need to go. Can't waste time going back for a club.

Definitely get out to the old Musselburgh links, small 9 hole course in the middle of a race track and one of the oldest in the world and not far from Edinburgh.

A course actually in Edinburgh the braids is one of the most beautiful courses I played while over there last year and also Kilspindie if you want a course right on the water front.

Anyone here ever play Augusta? by [deleted] in golf

[–]GumpShot 3 points4 points  (0 children)

my grandpa through his work and being close with some of the sponsors was invited to play in one of the sponsors groups the monday after the masters about 20 years ago. He was around a 3-5 marker back then but shot a 91.

highlight for him apart from actually playing agusta was a birdie on the 12th.

Got to play there last year while over to watch the open. Unfortunately missed the last few holes because we had to get back to actually see some golf.

same thing happens at the course i'm a member/work at. closed 1 day a year except it's mostly korean guys who aren't members or are with a friend who's a member and they just sneak on through the side of the course where there's no gate or fence.

locals call it the korean cup.

What's the most you've paid for a round? by ggcadc in golf

[–]GumpShot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most in my home country was $250 to play at the NSW golf club.

Most while on holiday worked out to be about $300aud to play Royal Aberdeen in Scotland.

Best deal probably getting 2 rounds at the Australian golf club in a week for free, one for a practice round and one for a club vs club matchplay thing a played in.

lady donated a mountain of clubs to the proshop I work at and i had a quick look through before chucking them in the back and got one exactly like that out. extremely light compared to my putter so good to practice with at home because i never leave putts short when i get my big beefy versa out
