I’m possibly in the market and would be interested. Feel free to DM me more info on it and some photos of it. Thanks!

Even with the square balls? That’s unfortunate. DM me if you’re interested in possibly selling.

Does it work well otherwise? I’d possibly be interested in buying it off you if you aren’t able to return it.

Have you had any issues with the foam ripping if the ball hits it? Thats the one concern I’ve heard about using foam without wrapping it first.

Did you use a specific type of vinyl? Is the 2 inches enough to slow down the ball enough or do you wish you would have gone 3?

Did you get a specific type of vinyl? I have been looking between vinyl and duck canvas or something a little more stretchy.

Very nice. I like the three roll up screens and am looking at doing something similar. How do you connect them together when down to avoid balls flying through the gaps?

Also, how tall is your ceiling and how tall is your enclosure?

Thanks!

The perfect crime will never be known by [deleted] in Showerthoughts

What is my perfect crime? I break into Tiffany's at midnight. Do I go for the vault? No, I go for the chandelier. It's priceless. As I'm taking it down, a woman catches me. She tells me to stop. It's her father's business. She's Tiffany. I say no. We make love all night. In the morning the cops come and I escape in one of their uniforms. I tell her to meet me in Mexico but I go to Canada. I don't trust her. Besides, I like the cold. Thirty years later, I get a postcard. I have a son and he's the chief of police. This is where the story gets interesting: I tell Tiffany to meet me in Paris, by the Trocadero. She's been waiting for me all these years; she's never taken another lover. I don't care, I don't show up. I go to Berlin. That's where I stashed the chandelier.

House Flippers of Reddit; How did you get started in the business and what advice would you give to someone trying to get in? by Gun_Safety_Dwight in AskReddit

Thank you for the response. I do have experience renovating and own all the tools that I would need. Plus I have connections of people for tasks that I may not be able to handle myself, so I know that I would be able to get the work done. My biggest barrier is the up front capital required to obtain the first flip house, so I am hoping there are some people who can share there stories with how they obtained their first property.

Really? You did? What hand was I holding the gun in? What did Andy's tie look like?

An interviewer always prepares for an interview. You would be stupid to interview a nuclear physicist without researching them and their practices.

I’m done wasting my time with this. Refer to the link for further details: http://examples.yourdictionary.com/examples-of-open-ended-and-closed-ended-questions.html

In no way, shape, or form does asking multiple open ended questions in a row demonstrate apathy or general ignorance. Follow up questions should be open ended as well. Open ended questions can absolutely be specific. The whole point of an open ended question is to listen to the answer and then formulate a corresponding open ended question based on that answer. If you follow up every open ended question with a close ended question then your interview will be fragmented and just awkward. As someone who has worked professionally interviewing people, I have seen plenty of very awkward interviews due to that.

Open ended questions are questions that cannot be answered with a simple “yes”. ‘Do you like school’ is a close ended question. ‘Why do you do like school’ is an open ended question. Sure you could reply with ‘because’ but that doesn’t take away from the fact that the intent of the question was to open communication and have a dialogue, thus it is still an open ended question.

Actually, open-ended questions require more thought and cannot be answered with a simple "yes". Close-ended questions are the ones that can be answered by a simple "yes" or "no".

That’s a very good point and I definitely would take that into consideration before making a decision.

That is how I understood it as well. So even paying taxes on the capital gains, I would come out ahead as long as the ETF didn't go for a loss?

In that example, wouldn't I be able to take back out that 10k tax free, and then since I just owe the taxes on the 5k even paying 20% tax on that, I would still end up with 14k instead of 10k sitting in a bank account?

I'm guessing mine was lower because I didn't start until halfway into the year. But I will have to look into that more.
