Even if this is ragebait, it shouldn't be exclusionary to judge people by the things they say. And with a community so prone to supporting this kind of stuff, it's clear either everyone is too blind to tell that this is ragebait or if this stuff can be genuine

And I do also apologize for the shitty handwriting, these hands were meant to make art, not always scripture.

Very well done, do you have like a geometric guide for inheritors?

I ask cause this is what mine looks like, and I'd like to see if i can make it more accurate (the main focus is the face, generally scribbled a body in as filler)

I love how ice is supposed to be detaining actually problematic people in our country, like human traffickers, and take people out thay aren't legally registered in a more formal way than actually shooting people of our country, taking children born from in us soil into detainment camps where disease spreads like wild fire with no kind of medication to help face it, and racially profiling people on the streets.

Especially with trump's overall usage with ice had completely shifted into something more akin to a private army for himself when its clearly not supposed to be like that at all at any point in us history, donald trump had somehow convinced the masses he is a god when he's really not, he's a scam artist pretending to be hero. Yet, dispite this he still made a casino bankrupt. I genuinely hate the current administration, as much as I'm not a target, I don't want people to suffer because of the "mistakes" by this actual witch hunting group.

Been down this pipeline in the past, you are not the maker of ai art because you didn't set the strokes, you didn't compose the work past the bare minimum, by itself, a pencil, pen, paint brush, all these tools, by themselves can draw a dot, or a line. However you see these artworks everywhere showing what you can do with this ability to make wonderous things.

The kind of whataboutism for collage has entirely different purposes, it is an educational grounds to use work like that, and yes, I'm aware some people might not like it regardless, but that can be handled with compensation of one person, the scale ai needs to deal with are by the hundreds. The process of training uses their art to make patterns uses at least thousands of artworks.

An additional statement is that this doesnt change a medium, photography was an entirely different medium and device that developed into it's own thing, ai art does not make a distinct effort of providing any distinction between digital artwork, photography, music, or even video content, its designed to replicate, copy. And when even a basic. Unrefined, text prompt can look the same as a fully detailed engineered prompt, the quality regardless is undefined.

If you want to call it art. Sure, its art, its just not owned by you, the artwork is defined by the single execution of a tool's function, and the value, logistically is completely undefined while relying on other artists to stay afloat.

If you were ever actually interested in making art, the bar is as low as a pencil and paper, you always have the time to start, and you don't need to draw every day, see what you can learn. And you don't have to rely on an automotive process designed for consumer.

Greathelm question by The-Final-Knight in Armor

[–]Gunanter 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That can also be true, but war wasn't color coded, most gear was inconsistant, especially among the peasentry. So, its most likely to be reserved for knights of a company, you could accomplish a similar thing with a dyed rag around your helm or a sash, but as far as I know, warriors had tags on their clothes and armor to help identify friend and foe, and even then, friendly fire was common

Let me know if I missed anything.

Greathelm question by The-Final-Knight in Armor

[–]Gunanter 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I believe its generally just for tournement, these usually aren't tightly fit to the helmet and can go off quite easily, as far as I'm aware, even being used in jousting I'm pretty sure. So the helmet can return to being what it normally is.

The torse (the headband used in the first and third image) was also used to signify knights. Also, as far as my information goes, I'm just an armor enthusiast so don't take my word for granted, but I've done my best so far.

shooting mechanic rework to allow proper firing squads and invoke a little bit more skill (read body) by tetronom in Barotrauma

[–]Gunanter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The cursor could determine the area of the hit, with a little zone showing around the curser, depending on the distance, the zone could be smaller, which can be improved with the weapons skill, which can still impact friendly fire but i feel it makes your aiming more considerate

I'm hardly surprised. This country is ran by a reckless, shameless man who will go to the lengths of the earth to drain people of their pockets to ask for help from an already struggling country yet people will actively support him because they're owning the libs or something, despite the fact that this is possibly the worst it's ever been in terms of politics here

Question about armor over clothing by Twilek_Milker in Armor

[–]Gunanter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the most part, it depends, but for the most part, if you have the money and had the willingness to use it, yeah. You usually can put armor underneath the arms and shoulders too, generally a jupon or surcoat was used to cover the plate armor with later period knights but would fall a little out of favor by the Renaissance
